It was an eye opening experience to play with the both of you! Hope you enjoyed your time here!
Nice
As I’ve stated previously, there is no better ambassadors of badminton than Greg & Jenny.
Thanks again for dropping by our session !
We’d definitely love to welcome you back and have a rematch to see how much we’ve improved 😅
You’re very welcome! We’d love to come back 😀🏸
can I join your session too :)
@@rodneytannn always welcomed
Tips and seeing it applied in real-world scenarios is just a gamechanger. Plus seeing the change in realtime within the vid. Badminton Insight does it again!
Really fun video seeing pros play against casual players. Learned soo much on how to play against strong, fast, experienced opponents. I would love to see more videos like this in the future ⚡️
Thanks 😀 We’d love to do more!
2:35 True motivation for today
Hope you had a great time playing with them as well as teaching them 😊.
Haha! Yes we did 😀
Thank you so much for teaching us so much in such a short span of time. Really eye-opening experience!
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
HI JENNIE AND GREG I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE VIDEOS THAT YOU MAKE 😊😊😊
We're so thankful for you watching them! 🤗😃
Thank you for your nice video as always and good advices ! Looking forward to next Sunday ❤
Awesome video! I love how you interact with your subscribers like this. That's a great experience for all of you.
It's wonderful to see you both mingling in local club sessions. Hope you both enjoyed your time and experience here in Malaysia!
As a beginner, I also tend to make these same mistakes. Very nice insights! Thanks and more power to both of you!!!
Much appreciated to you guys for spending your time to play & educate others…once in a lifetime chances…would love to play & learn from you guys; hopefully there will be a chance…stay safe & stay humble…love your vibes…!!!
You guys are great, giving us so much coaching mostly out of the goodness of your hearts. I noticed Jenny constantly bouncing on her toes even when she's not hitting or even receiving - so fit and disciplined. Jenny's tips on soft returns was made for me.
Sending love from Canada. Just started playing Badminton and have been binging your informative videos over the past week.
Amazing video yet again and thanks for sharing your insights. It’s very different when we are pitting yourselves against professional players like both you and Jenny. Would love to play against you one day (maybe next year) when you come by again. 🎉
I'm a Malaysian too, and i know that they're gonna brag about having a match with 2 professional badminton players with their families and friends for weeks or months. Trust me :D. Jk, feels good to have these kind of meet-n-greet in the court really wish i could be playing against you two as well... I also got so much insight too as always from this video, thank you so much both of you.
#Ifitdoesnotchallengeyou
#Itwillnotchangeyou
You're right. I did not shut up about it since the day I played them. Really really great experience and a dream come true!
😂😂 Glad you enjoyed it! We’ll hopefully do lots more in the future 😀
As they should. :)
That's amazing to play with your subscribers and give them some advices.
Top content! 🙌
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😀
thank you guys so much for the tips! this is very helpful for us amateur :D
Good video and learned a new word. Very educational, keep it up!
Another informative video!! 😍 As always you guys played delicately 👌🏻 anddd ugh you guys were super close to me last week - I recognized the Sport Centre court at Dataran Sunway. Cant believe i missed the chance to see you both. Hope you find Malaysia fascinating! 😊
Thanks! Ah so close! Yes it was amazing 😀😀
Great video Greg and Jenny! Happy to see the tradition of playing with subscribers being carried on 😁 Maybe one day we can have Thai subscribers vs Malaysian subscribers match ! 😅
Thanks guys! Yes that would be awesome 😀😀
It's wonderful to watch your clips.... Possibly drop the corporate-speak, in favour of saying "smashing" ... "That would be smashing"
I used to think badminton is boring, you guys made learning it fun. Hope you stayed for some late night teh tarik sessions afterwards, thanks for dropping by!
Back a badminton lesson, so good. Great that you also edit with FCPX :)
We went to Malaysia to watch you in this leg..it was. Good experience.
Greg and Jenny... Please do this type of video.. Play with subscribers.. I love it. I wish to play badminton with u guys...
As it is Luanr new years I wish you both the best and more success for the upcoming year!! Hopefully so much that you guys will be able to visit the USA and into one of the many clubs where near I live! Cheers Greg and Jenny! 🧧🧧🧧

Aus isn’t a bad place to be!! Haha glad you enjoyed it 😀🏸
The video was so enjoyable and so informative thank you Greg and Jenny. Love from India😊🇮🇳🙏
I really enjoy these videos ! Thank you 😊 now when are you coming to the Niagara Falls area ??
Hi, another subscriber from Malaysia. Just want to say thank you for all your content which help me who just started to play badminton at the end of 2021. Cheers to many more tips and tricks for badminton. Hope to see both of you one day
Ah that’s amazing to hear 😀
This was really good Badminton Insight
It was fun to watch you play against players that play once and twice a week 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
Then learn what mistakes they make and what they can improve 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
1. Don’t lift too much
2. First 3 shots
3. Hitting hard off balance
And also learn a new word “quandary” uncertainty over what to do in a difficult situation 😁
Great video idea! Id love to watch more matches vs random opponents from streets ;)
LOL the part pausing for quandry is hilarious!
Love the video!
Wow those are very good tips ! Thanks !
Cool one day ill be playing with elite pros like you guys!!!! (GREAT VIDEO!!!!)😄
Looking forward to you guys coming to New Delhi next year. I hope you guys will do a video like this here too. ❤️❤️
Till then. I'll keep smashing the like button. 🔥🔥
I loved this video, hope you will do some more of them! I also have the same issues - lifting too much and hitting off balance! I will watch for that more carefully!
Thanks! We sure will 😀
Was about to do the same thing for "quandary", thanks for the googling!
Nice one, again learn so much!
Thanks Darius 😀
Insightful video as always! Next stop, Vietnam 🥰🥰🥰
love to see you guys
woah even i did one of those mistakes . Thanks! That helped me a lot .I wish i could also play like you some day
Haha you’re welcome!
Love it ❤️🔥
Awesome video! please come to Singapore next time :)
So awesome to connect with your subscribers Greg and Jenny! Come to Singapore please 🇸🇬😎
Love your videos 🎉
Thank you so much! 😃
Great video guys!
I just wanna say a big thank you for the amazing work and for being a wonderful ambassador for badminton!
Thank you very much 😄
What was a really obvious difference is that both of you are much more active during rallies whereas we ordinary mortals tend to be more static unless we're the hitter. And some of the people I play with haven't got the hang of the fact that we're a team - thst shot isn't necessarily "mine" because it's sort-of on my side of the court! Great video!
Great fun video! Speaking of avoiding injuries, when I was learning tap dance, we've always been told not to dance on a rock solid surface such as concrete, there has to be some sort of cushioning underneath the floor surface above the actual ground, or that it has to use some kind of sub-flooring system in order to absorb the shock and in order to reduce risks of injuries, is it similar with badminton?
Very “insight”ful! 😃 I may try a no-lift game next time I’m playing, curious how much I’m actually doing it. 🤔
hopefully, there will be another video like this, thank you guys.
Greg keeps reminding me to keep my racket up, cause it might just turn into an easy point.
Learned to much from this video. You guys are really fast. Found clear demarcations between the pro and the ametures, though you were playing only of your 30/40%.
Welcome to Bangladesh(Dhaka). We arrange an international challenger every year in November/December. You may play that and deliver some useful sessions for us here. Thanks.
Hey Greg & Jenny. I'm from Malaysia and I play at the same hall in which you guys played (NVBA). Would have loved to join the session and play against the 2 of you haha. Hopefully I get to meet you guys the next time you visit Malaysia
You guys helped my game thanks
Terima kasih. Greg and Jenny. For spending time with our folks. Great vid again. However, you need to shout "Aiyaaa" whenever you lose points...that makes our day!😁
Great video again. What is the most common return of serve in mens singles after a short serve and after a long serve? Keep on going your videos they are awesome!😀😀😀
We’ll hopefully do videos on these at some point 😀 A net shot or lift is most common off the low serve! And we’ve actually done a video on singles return of serves if you want to watch that 😊
Love u guys
Happy new year!
Delightful. And wouldn't it be fine to see a public badminton centre like that in the UK in one of the thousands of empty warehouses around the country. Good luck on Tuesday, guys. Enjoy Jakarta.
Hey brother, Im in malaysia too! I played badminton for awhile now and im just 12years old and my school is in puchong, SJKC Yak Chee.
Love your vids
Thanks 😀
This was so funnn. Wish you did this for India Open too 😭
So nice of you guys to play with subscribers! Hopefully one day you'll get to play in Singapore as well. (Singapore Open is happening 6-11 June, hehe)
🤣Will you guys come to Toronto anytime this year?? So jealous that these guys get to play with you!!
Thanks for this video! I do have a big issue which I hope you might know how to fix. I know you’ve made a video about this subject but for me it didn’t really helped me in my situation. My problem is that I’m basically mentally ruining my game. At normal training sessions I always play really well. But as soon as I have a game for competition or a tournament, I mentally just stop working. When I’m playing a singles match on a training I can always really use my tactics and my shots are all really tight to the net etc. Yet as soon as I have a competition game my mind just becomes one big mess. I have no idea how to stop it or anything and it is really keeping me from becoming better because my level is at like an 5 for competition days compared to an 8 on training days. Especially since once I’m starting to get angry at myself for all those offside shots it will only get worse and worse. I have no idea why but It just happens. Everything goes offside or in the net, all my tactics just fade, I start to randomly shoot shots to random places and my footwork is all messed up. I know that it happens and I always say to myself to just be calm, but that just won’t do it. I have absolutely no idea on how to fix this. I have a championship game in 3 weeks and I know that I can win it, but I also know that because that game will decide if my team will be champion, I will also be more nervous and therefore make even more mistakes which I just can’t stop to make for some reason. Thinking like ‘don’t stress so hard’ or anything just won’t seem to help. My apologies for this big message.
Can't wait for my turn to play with you guys😻😻
Welcome to MALAYSIA!!!! Hope you had great time playing with them and learn more skills...
Missed you guys during Malaysia Open week. Hopefully can meet you guys next time when you come to Malaysia.
Helo Greg & Jenny, been subscribing to your channel since mid / late 2020 and I have benefited a lot from your tutorial, especially those when you analyze our game, the mere mortal compared to pro players like you guys =D. If you may, I'd like to invite you to our play in game in Jakarta when you're available! Thanks!
OMG!!!! One of the court is where I usually played. I am so shocked!
Wise words at the end: "The better you get, the more fun badminton gets"
There is so much truth to that 😁
DAMN THIS IS GOOD TO WATCH
great video! would love you to visit essex some time and do one with our club here in leigh-on-sea. keep up the great content. Its very much appreciated!
Damnnn, this looks so much fun.... wish I could join for next year🤞🏻
I’m in a quandary about what to comment. Enjoyed it a lot 🏸 wish you were in India. ❤
Haha thanks Umesh! Hopefully soon 😀
please come more often to malaysia, we all love you guys
Quandary 😂. I was thinking the exact same thing, such a difficult word in everyday speech
Hahahaa!
Not if you're a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fan. And who isn't? 🙂
Y'all were in PJ and Kota Damansara ???!!! Thumbs up from me in the US, and welcome to Malaysia.
what a blast!
The cut away to the definition of quandary. :D
woah i was just about to search for that(quandary)... thanks😂😂
Haha you’re welcome 😀
arrrgghhh !!! really hope to get some advise from u guys, and get to play with u guys, and advise me something
Hope you guys had fun in Malaysia!
I have never touched a badminton racket but after watching your vds i feel i can compete in pro level.
Hi Greg, I would like to ask if the "Thruster F" racket you are using is the 4U or 3U version?
And 3U is not much different from 4U? I am using a 4U version, I really like it and am planning to buy another one but I am wondering between 3U or 4U?
Hope you can listen to your advice. Thank you.
Do you ever come to Thailand? I'd love the opportunity to play and learn with you both if you ever do, much like in this video. Many great courts to play at here in Bangkok!
lmao that sound effect you guys added when he said quandary
im a US native and graduated college and idk that word either
5:52 this is such a good question, I joined a stronger club and basically I had to change my serve receive and actually came up with the method jenny explained in this video: hitting soft to the sides!
So actually I have a different question, usually I'm looking to intercept the third shot and have my racket up but if they play the soft shot to the sides I always end up playing it very late and lifting it. Instead what should I do in this case?
That black 1/4 zip at the end that jenny had is SO nice. Do you have a link ???
I hope you guys come to Myanmar one day
Hoping to play with you one day!
That smashes whew 😵💫😵💫
Hope you can come visit Los Angeles soon....
Someone has to keep count of how many people make the Badminton Insight joke when they learn something lol
Hey guys, I had a question regarding service during a mens doubles game
*I have trouble against taller players with longer wing spans.*
When I approach to serve them, their presence is almost all-encompassing if that makes sense
For reference, I am 5 Foot 10 Inches (176cm)
Unless I service perfectly above the net, forcing them to either play a lift or a net shot, they usually always smash it
Serving it higher doesn't work, as it gets smashed
Serving it to the side boxes doesn't work, as their long wingspans allow them to reach it
What advice would you have for me in this situation?
Thanks, love your videos and keep up the good work
