There's no limit to how many wrong notes you can get away with as long as you play them with absolute confidence.
Tell that to Cindy Elizando
No
jazz
@@itzz_lana_l9662 unironically yes
lol he rushed out of there after that final improvised cluster chord
Even Liszt himself didn't venture outdoors!
I wonder how many strings were broken in pianos out there thanks to this piece
the whole piano
This performer was responsible for 90% of them
'To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable.'
- Ludwig van Beethoven
Now I understand lol
He took the fff to a whole other dimension.
He is incompetent. Compare "competent" --

@@FranzLiszt0904yep that slop was precisely what Liszt meant.
Anti musical, hideux, une orientation vers une école de cirque, ou une longue thérapie me semblent nécessaires. Pauvre Liszt!
That has to be the single worst performance of this piece I have ever heard.
Aww you’re no fun
*best
😞
Are you OK piano
Bro is taking out his repressed rage on that piano

Impressive it is, but yes, not musical. It is funny though.

Bad pianist.
I don't think he is bad it's the piece that is unplayable. If he would play something else less difficult, he would have given a better performance.
@@paumasabad8059 Well, it is hard, no doubt, but it is quite playable. In fact, any minimally competent professional can play it. The big people play it just fine, have a listen (а Liszt specialist) --

@@RusskyVoyennyKorablIdiNakhui Thank you, It's amazing how the "big" pianists play hard Liszt pieces so good.
@@RusskyVoyennyKorablIdiNakhui I see you say any minimally competent profesional can play it maybe I'm wrong but they may be able to hit the notes but most won't "own the piece".
@@paumasabad8059 Yeah, definitely not owning the piece. But probably hit the notes, you got that right. Of course, to "own the piece," it has to be not just a competent professional, but someone who is exceptional. Berman was one of such exceptional people, although in a conventional way. For a non-conventional performance, one looks to Cziffra, who was, for all intents and purposes, Liszt reincarnated. (Played Chopin mediocre, though 🙂). It is definitely fun to compare them all . . .
