I was watching a program recently about orthopedic vets that have restored joints in animals by inserting hardware in the appropriate areas. I wonder if this was considered before Mike was put down?

Hi Gunga. Great question. We have rehabilitated over 14,000 animals over the past 31 years and this case was extremely complex. We have had animals with compromised joints who received orthopedic surgeries and recovered. However, in Mike's case he had a genetic condition which affected every joint but also the density of his bones.
