- Supported by Born Free, the Orphan Bear Rescue Centre (OBRC) rescues helpless, new-born bear cubs, often in critical condition, who have lost their mothers due to human conflict, logging and illegal hunting.
Ten cubs have already been rescued this year and, as you can see in this footage, they are tiny and fragile.

Only a real scumbag would kill a mother bear. We all know mother bears stay very close to their babies. It i soo sad to know they and millions of others are orphaned due to man. BUT, thanks to this person who made the video and thousands of other kind humans decided to help them.
Correction... Only a real scumbag would kill a mother bear IF his life was NOT in imminent danger, and lethal force was NOT justified. They didn't give us the back story of how they became orphans.

This is so sad and despicable. How could anyone kill a mother feeding little ones. It's cruel and evil. They have no place in this world. These little souls need love and nourishment to survive. Thank u for ur commitment and skills in caring for these little fur angels. Xx

They are precious little babies. I wonder why they are not getting any human affection in these videos. They are so little and they seem to need it.
My guess is, the caretakers wouldn’t pet them often, so that they don’t get too used to humans. The orphan bear center releases them in the wild when they grow up just a little bit, so maybe it would be harder for the bears to adapt if they do get used to humans. I can be wrong… But they are so adorable right🥺🥺
But they would get attention from their mother. Surely they could find a dog that would keep the cub company. So cruel.
Then these bears grow up and all they do is eat and ruin people's property and attack humans

It’s sad that all of them seeming to be begging for food.
Их хорошо кормят. Они не голодны. Просто они ещё очень маленькие. Этих медвежат вырастят по специальной методике, в " Центр спасения медвежат- сирот ", это в России. На видео медвежата из этого центра. Семья учёных Пажетновых, создавшие этот центр более 25 лет спасают и выращивают медвежат- сирот по специальной методике, не допуская привыкания медведей к человеку. Потом, подросших медведей выпускают в разных регионах России, туда, откуда медвежата и были привезены, то есть медведей возвращают в их естественную среду обитания. И выращивают медвежат,тоже в лесу, так их готовят к самостоятельной жизни.
Couldn’t you integrate the lone cub into another group? It just seems so cruel to leave it alone with no love and warmth from another body. 😢

Why are they killing the mothers?
...and no, like zero, human interaction...sad! At the stage of their life their adult personality "cores" are just starting. They need interaction with a caring, teaching adult, be it a momma bear, a momma dog, or even a person! Now i the perfect time to instill in them (teach) them good behavior, manners, when interacting with others. Sure they are going to eventually be released into the wild to fend for themselves...but their chance of survival is hugely improved if there's an adult to walk with them, show them what to eat, what not to eat; how to safely learn how to swim, and perhaps "fish" for food, and on and on and on. It's nice, great actually, that you rescued these little critters; however, just leaving them alone in a big box, not being a protecting presence in their life, shepherding them about the forest, being there encouraging good foraging skill development, all the while imprinting on them the basics of all the skills they will need to survive as adult wild bears, is a huge disservice to them. Sure, there might be a cub who every now and then has an interaction with a human after growing up to; but, hey! wouldn't you rather such interaction be on "Oh its just one of those creatures that taught me how to live in the woods...ho'hum!" Than having any number of negative reactions by not already being comfortably familiar with us!
Get off your butts and regularly take these cubs out into the forest for early-on training how to be successful bears.
What horrible spaces. They need a large dummy/stuffed animal for comfort and security. This is really cruel. Also that horrible artificial blue floor is probably disturbing to them.
I won't support as long as poaching or private hunting is not prevented.
How beautiful they are......they remind me of my flower, a black bear cub I rescued after a terrible 4 day ordeal when her mother was shot 22 times by a native alaskan for no other reason than she was trying to leave with her cub across a body of water. I lost flower that day due to all she had suffered from over those four days. It tore my heart apart because I gave my all to save her.
