ALUS Overview
The ALUS features a two-way motor and can be used with single or double-door sterilizers. Double doors can be interlocked to ensure only one can be open at a time. The ALUS can be set up to either manually load and automatically unload or automatically load and unload.
If your ALUS has a barcode reader, the cycle selection is done automatically. If your department has a double-door sterilizer with automatic unloading only, use the transfer carriage to manually load the next loading car. If your department is equipped with a single-door sterilizer, use the transfer carriage to manually load the next loading car of instruments to be processed onto the loading table.
Routing Cleaning and Maintenance of the Automatic Load/Unload System (ALUS)
To keep the ALUS clean, periodically wipe exterior surfaces with a damp cleaning cloth, some detergent solution, and then with a dry cloth. Do not use cleaners containing chlorine or abrasives, and do not rinse the ALUS with running water.
