Illumination is provided via high-intensity LED. The pattern size of the LEDs can be adjusted by rotating the spring-loaded lighthead handle. The illumination level of surgical lights can be adjusted through several intensity settings via controls on either the wall-mounted control center or the light head handle. Increasing the pattern size can also decrease the luminance level.
