    Piyush Gupta to step down despite of his high pay led something amiss unless verify by the authority. Yes what significant he done for DBS during his long period as CEO of DBS. More scams appear frequently and public outcry link to Indian Scammers leaks from DBS. Can this be true and why Piyush did not address the Issue.

    He was naturalized as a Singapore citizen in 2009, not born in Singapore. In spite of his dual citizenship in India he was appointed to this extremely high position for a foreigner. His salary is 11 millions. DBS is a state owned bank so should be governed by our local people for security & safety purposes.

    The successes of DBS, how does the success help the small savers who has the saving of $2 taken from them for not having the minimum sum in their account?

      It seems you might not be up to date on the facts. DBS experienced its best years under Piyush Gupta's leadership. During his 15-year tenure, the bank received numerous accolades and consistently delivered strong returns for its investors. In 2016, DBS became the first Asian bank to win the World's Best Digital Bank award. So, do you really know what you're talking about, or is there another reason for your comment? Racism? Lol.

      Yeah, he is a capitalist who served the interests of capitalists. DBS is Development Bank of Singapore, it's a bank for the development of Singapore. But he made DBS to become a capitalist bank that focus using hot money from the rich to inflate the wealth of the rich, and in the process inflated away the livelihood of the people.

      Based on my experience and personal opinion, foreigners who come to SG always find ways to “benefit” their country or fellow countrymen.
      Contrary to meritocracy, it seems SG merely get foreigners to run local enterprises or just outright attempt to sell country assets to foreigners. Even if they have better local talents.

      @@RealRick0408 Yeah, look at Ukraine, everything is sold to the top 1% and foreigners, nothing is left for the people since gaining independence in 1991.
      The colour revolution to join the EU and the current war all linked to the livelihood of Ukrainians.
      Everything that the country can use to help the people is in the hand of the capitalists. Oh, yes, they called them oligarchs, they call them chaebols in Korea.

    Get CEO of UBS. He is Singaporean..
    As usual, the best talent of SG always end up overseas. It’s almost like the country is afraid of local talents.

      What he have done and focus on these years as CEO was to set up DBS Branch in India cities! More than ten DBS branches in India cities now! If let him work longer as CEO, Singapore Development Bank (DBS) may become India Development Bank (IDB) in the near future!

      @@mcchiang5219 What is wrong with that? India, being the second-most populous country in the world has huge development potential in the future. DBS has also acquired Citibank's business in Taiwan and expanded its presence in the China market by increasing its stake in the China bank.

    • @Magnatec_tank
      @Magnatec_tank 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@mcchiang5219 I did see when I travelled to India, so you're right. But, what is wrong with that? India and China are two of Singapore's biggest trading partners. These are the right countries you would want to forge stronger financial networks with. If anything, this is a step in a good direction towards expansion and DBS's growth.
