Simplemente genial
This is awesome. I've been doing familial research, and my wife's grandma was married to Deuce Spriggins after Deuce and Carolina's ill-fated marriage. Wife's grandma's marriage with him was ill-fated, as well.
Finding out more about Deuce and Carolina has been a refreshing lesson in the history of the golden age of Western Swing. Thank you for sharing this!!!
Best time I have is listening to you you sing like an Angel big hugs and kisses from my heart to your heart.
Love this Sharon, I didn't know you had video footage of your mom this old :) .

Beautiful ❤❤
2009? Guess I am more than a little late to the party. Anyone know who the guitar and fiddle players are? Could be the Farr brothers.
Great stuff! Jill Jones does a nice version of this song.
I figured she was an Okie..... but learned she was an Arkie. What a great singer
A N D yodeler! And also beautiful.
I love to yodel ......... all the songs of romance in the spring
I can serenade my pony but it won't be matrimony
he can't buy a golden wedding ring .............
I love to yodel .......... no one wants to listen but the cow
So I yodel lullabies as I gaze into their eyes
they seem to like this melody somehow .............
I love to yodel .......... and there's a hansom feller' that I know
I'd love to do his cooking and gee is he goodlooking
but he's an actor at the movieshow ..............
Bless
Thank you so much! I'd buckled up for that one with my pen in hand getting ready to write it down, and then I thought I'd check the comments just in case. :)
Thank you kindly, dear fellow yodel enthusiast! ❤️

one of yodeling's true stars. Cotton is featured in the new book YODEL IN HIFI: From Kitsch Folk to Contemporary Electronica: uwpress.wisc.edu/books/4594.htm

A beautiful aspect of the European people's (White) culture.
From racially segregated Arkansas during WWII.
@@davidklein5007 Wait till you find out the hardcore segregation and racism that still today occurs in many large non-white countries... You're the racist...
The music from the country comes from Black and white workers trading what they like. Calling it “White” diminishes it.
Jazz worked the same way in the cities.
Segregation was real. It hurt. But people traded anyway. Listen to really old records.
