“Restless Ground: The Untold Story of Mt. Olive,” produced in partnership between New Castle County and 1440 Film Co., explores the history of the Mt. Olive Cemetery, the impact of institutional racism on those interred there and New Castle County’s efforts, in partnership with the Mother African Union Church and Trust for Public Land, to bring them justice and dignity.

My great grandparents are buried there. I recently received their death records and Mt. olive was listed as place of burial. Boy I would love to find exactly where they are to share at our upcoming family reunion. I have even called the funeral home listed and I guess it doesn’t exist anyone.
