  • As a watch enthusiast with rather small (150-160 mm/6") wrists, I do encounter quite some problems with fitting watches. Even when watch cases are not like UFO's and bracelets can be properly sized, due to the position of the clasp the watch will not sit properly centred on my wrist. luckily I found a solution to overcome this obstacle.

For years I have had the same issue. Thank you so much for the hack.
I just received my Steinhart Ocean 39 BLACK Ceramic Diver Watch, and now it fits so much better. 👍🏾

Your welcome. Did you already try it? Did it work out? Just wondering.

@@buying_Time Wearing this style of watch band (metal instead of rubber or cloth) is brand new to me so I think I'm also getting use to that. That said, this switch did make it much better. Now I think I need to experiment with the micro adjustment a bit and just wear it some more. Thank you

Hey, you are already a lot quicker than I am. I thought this up a year ago after having these watches for almost a decade. Couldn't find this solution on RUclips, so I made it my first video. Then we got a mayor flood here and I totally forgot. I also recently adjusted my watch bracelets because in hind sight they were far too loose. That said, weather conditions do affect things as wrist size as well. Find out what works best for you.

@@Marc_Miller of course I don't know what type and quality of clasp and bracelet you have, but what sometimes helps me with cheaper clasps is that I round off the edges a bit of the parts that rub against my wrists. These edges can cause me skin irritation in warm weather conditions. A bit of 600 grain sand paper does the trick on these edges. If this is too slow for you you can use 400 grain, but then you will have more work addressing possible scratches. You don't need much, I always use a bit wrapped around a sliver of old plastic membership card.
