My mom had an Optigan. Lots of fun. When I was a kid, I discovered I could get all kinds of weird sounds out of it by putting disks in upside-down or stacking them.

+Edgaras Upit The music on my channel is my creation yes. Just to clarify; I don't contribute to Sonicstate. There's currently no download of my music, but I'm working on a number of projects and solutions for later this year. So stay tuned 😉
Delighted to hear Dave share the story of introducing my him to Coil and the legendary Optigan he acquired. Good memories!! Another fabulous show, as always!
The accidents part reminded me of a colleague in a pop venue being on stage with a Genie manlift going up to focus some lights. However he was a bit too close to a 24 channel Midas Sienna monitor desk on a easytilt system. The manlift going up completely flipped over the desk which crashed down on a concrete floor faders down. Ooooops.
I'm 27 and love sonicstate! I'm partial to industrial and the like, mess with eurorack and such, recording and engineering. Idk how young you meant but I feel anyone serious about production would dig the page
I recall the Mattel Synsonics I purchased from Argos back in the day, and that's how long it lasted just a few minutes before it died very badly made, or at least the one I bought was, thankfully Argos being Argos just gave me the money back, eventually I bought the Alesis SR16 never had any problems with that lol
Behringer said they will be announcing a new synth at Superbooth. And also the Behringer D prototype will be available next week. Maybe. That's exciting for me at least.
So Rad! Loved seeing Dave, Gaz, Mark and Nick together again.
I found a working Optigan in the trash last summer with about 30 disks...sitting in my kitchen as i type. So nice to know people still like them.

Blur's "13" (1999) produced by William Ørbit features Optigan too. An instrumental aptly called "Optigan 1".
Loved Mark's Ooops stories! Brilliant. Another fine episode lads. Have fun at Messe!
I still have a Mattel Synsonics and a Hammond The Piper organ with auto chord & reverb. Still going strong! Great show lads!!!
Great track Nick. It would be a pleasure listem it full.
+Josmael Roberto Kampa thanks, the audio feed compression was a bit viscous and to be honest there isn't much more to it.
sonicstate Wow, it sounds very good to me,
Loving the track

These M-Tron libraries are a gift from God!!
amen. i wish there were more. optigan patches at half speed are great.
None of you recall Steve Hackett using his Optigan live as the intro for 'Tower Struck Down'?
I always listen to what nick, ty, and dave says.....you have to find your heroes :))))) But love the show every 4king time......:)

There should be an unwritten rule that you can't own two Model D's. Its clearly wrong and offensive.
I can see Mark being the shopkeeper in Mr Benn.
Maybe I missed it, but is there a way to hear more of that outro track? Love it.
