@@NateHabibi you should do challenge runs on fallout 1/2 tbh. Everyone always does challenge videos for fallout 3, NV, and 4 but never the original 2. Basically a wide open spot in that community on RUclips.

I love this series
Honestly, seeing someone play through Fallout mostly blind is really interesting because usually people would look things up for a game this old (I did back in the day) but going around with no care about what you're doing and killing everyone you come across if they cross with you is quite entertaining.
If you want a bit of advice, the Boneyard will have some pretty good weapons you can buy or steal (you can steal from people using the steal skill and placing the cursor on them) and around that Boneyard area there's a place where high experience monsters spawn and respawn every in game hour if you'd want to grind a bit. Also you can keep using lockpick on doors again and again until the lock breaks iirc. You can put the difficulty down to easy to make the chances of it opening higher but that's a bit of a cheese strat.
I honestly hope you finish this game, it'll be really interesting to see you get to the end with this character and world where everyone is nearly dead.
Don't want to spoil too much, but key to door in Cathedral is like tape in Military Base: Some of NPCs have it... and you actually even picked one up ;-).
If it's the badges, I think I dropped them because I thought they were just decorative
@@NateHabibi Yep, it's them (didn't want to spoil it if you didn't know). Also: using explosives to open doors is also possible in many locations.

Nate habibi, don’t kill the brotherhood of steel but join them. They will send you on a quest where, I’m not going to spoil it but I’m going to tell you, you need RadX. You can get power armor and more ammo for laser/plasma weapons. Also yeah, instead of using the laser rifle, use the plasma rifle. Also you can get the brotherhood of steel to help you destroy the mariposa military base. After destroying the military base with the brotherhood of steel you should go to the boneyard and talk to the doctor guy by the crops. He can upgrade your power armor if you do his short easy quest. Also his buddy in one of the houses near the crop field will upgrade your plasma rifle. Then just go to the cathedral and end the game. Also you can farm xp by killing the death claws in the boneyard by killing them, going back to the entrance, waiting for some time, and then going back.
I think he can't because his character has low intelligence. Unless he finds the location by himself.
@@retrolinkx he can up his int with mentats, but that's half the problem
