If Malaysia is not too far away from the US, I bet it is going to be a massive hit among Americans. I found vlog done by American RUclipsrs on KL such as yourself, truly captivating maybe because you "get" its essence on diversity and multiculturalism.
Yes, many US tourists seem to appreciate the city scape, city forests, food, cultural diversity, locals speaking English & affordability. Generally underrated by global travellers but the taste is in the pudding!
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾. Nice to know u enjoyed your time here. The monkeys u saw at KL eco forest probably the dusky leaf, they are not aggressive like the macaque monkeys you saw at Batu Caves. Recommend family fun spots near KL: Sunway Lagoon, Luge skyline Rawang, Genting Highlands
Malaysia is worth visiting because it is affordable, clean with world class facilities. Malaysian are English spoken make easy for tourist so enjoy your vacation in Malaysia....
Amazing green city.. I prefer hot n humid.. though it makes one sweat but healthy just like when you go into the 'free sauna' better than hot n dry.. or freezing 🥶 Cold n wet.. anyway beautiful vibes thank you for sharing 😅🎉
I love your story telling and the flow of the story. Like when you said the Petaling Street doesn't feel like Malaysia, I tend to agree and concur with your thoughts 🎉🌿
You should go to titiwangsa lake garden (accessible via mrt and grab) it's so pretty you could see KL's iconic skylines and towers (merdeka 118, petronas twin towers and KL tower in one place). A lot of families go there for a picnic and other fun activities for kids and adults inc water activities. Botanical garden near the national museum is a must visit too!
When you mention a food like pancake with peanut inside it, it call Apam Balik. I have seen many videos from tourist that doing recording about food, they have try it and give a good review about it, no matter from Chinese or Malay who make Apam Balik.
