I have the exact same van except mine is green. I love it and do full time van life in it. It only had 52,000m on it and I paid $1,000 for it and dumped almost $7,000 into it because the original owner left it sitting in the grass for over a decade. She runs strong and I saved her
I have always loved these vans. I lived in Florida in my childhood and saw lots of these…I always wished my parents would buy one, but they were happy with our minivan. I knew a few people who had these vans and when it came time to get a new vehicle, they never bought another one…they always got a Ford Explorer or an Expedition, or a smaller car. I envied people that had conversion vans.

My neighbors had this when I was young and I’m still jealous. Something really cool about having this technology in a vehicle at the time. I can watch Netflix on my phone on road trips but that’s still not as cool as this. Hope your kids will watch some vhs tapes!
@@petescarport My rig has air suspension in the rear and new shocks and a one inch raiser (added to stock spring in front after purchase). I live on a hill and did have trouble with the front wheel scraping the wheel well. Also, I live where there are lots of curvy roads and mountains. The set up definitely improved the cornering.
So yes I heard of doing this exact same thing. I thought about it but it was more for your situation or heavy towing. I decided to go more mild a d just upgrade the worn out stuff.
Really nice van Pete! I have a 1999 Ford E150 conversion. I absolutely adore it. You and your family will enjoy this vehicle for years. And if I’m not mistaken I think it has the 350 TBI engine which is a very reliable engine.
It's great they still make them. THey aren't like this but the general concept exists. The last of the old school vans by GM, glad they still make brand new Explorer Express/Savana ones.
We have a 1995 also. Love it! Ours has 257000 miles , but ready for more. It is our travel vehicle! On third transmission but because #3 guy told me #2 did not fix it correctly. I will put in a #4 if needed. The 350 is strong as ever. Got the roof repainted couple years ago. We call it our Kansas Kruzer!
Chevy Rally wheels will fit that Van and if you paint them body Color and buy new Center Caps and beauty rings the result is sickness... Just thought I'd add my fav Chevy truck mod lol Nice ride btw my man!
Wow super nice. They are extremely valuable right now too. Not sure if you saw the one on BAT go for $22k. Short wheel base and no high top with 56k miles.
Since there is so much space from that TV, you should turn the inside of that in to a pc/multi-consol connected with starlink sobm you have internet anywhere
There is one problem you'd have though, although we U.S. people have steering wheels on the left side and drive in the right side of the road, you guys in England drive on the left side of the road with steering wheels on the right side, and even if you drive with the steering wheel on the left side, you'll still have to drive on the left side of the road, and when trying to pass someone on a two lane road in England, when trying to switch over from the left side to the right side so you could pass someone going too slow, you won't be able to see a car, bus, or truck coming the other way on the right side, you'll end up with a serious wreck which can make you hurt or killed, not something I would want to experience, so I'm sorry if I annoyed you, but I'm just trying to help you so you wouldn't end up into something embarrassing or deadly, so are you sure you would want a van with a steering wheel on the left side while having to drive on the left side of the road? Since I live in the U.S., and have to drive on the right side of the road, I wouldn't want a steering wheel on the right side, I find that too dangerous for myself, I wouldn't be able to see anyone coming on the left side of the road while trying to pass someone going too slow, if I move over to the left lane to pass, I'll smack that car, bus, or truck without being able to see either coming, and then I could injure or kill myself and/or someone else coming the other way on the left side, which is why I would want my steering wheel on the left side, and if I was living in England like you, then it would be the other way around, that would be the only time I would want my steering wheel on the right side because of having to drive on the left side of the road like you have to, so I apologize for making you think I'm harassing you or being mean to you, I only said those things to protect you from that kind of harm, but it's your choice, I have autism just so you know which I hope you understand, but like those without autism, I can still drive, and I still know how to drive, and I could take the challenge with England's way of driving if I have to, that is if I visit England at all, and if that kind of mirror image is too much for me, then I'll just ride on the second floor of a double-decker bus in London.
I bought a 1995 chevy g20 Tiara motor coach van, it looks alot like the one you have. I was wondering if you knew where I could find some armrests pins, I have 2 armrests that will not stay on, that I would like to fix. Also looking for a turn signal arm multi switch. Some times my windshield wipers and washer will work fine, other times they will not work at all. Will take all the help I can get. Thanks

@moremoney2 nice and thanks for the info. Mine has about 67k miles now and runs perfect still. Just a little bit of swaying on highway when windy. Hope to change out all suspension soon
I got mine right at the beginning of covid and stole it at $4000. But a low mileage no rust good condition one will sell for $20k easily. Look at recent ones on bring a trailer. Most sell for $15-$25k depending on miles

How much did it cost? Super condition.

4 or 14?! Both price are good
My question with many of these is why am I finding them with such low miles for the year?
They were mainly used to travel but also easy to swap odometer so be carful and check history
Be carefull when buying 30 year old conversion vans. Those speedometers hit 100k and roll over and start again.
