As someone who lost his mom at 15 to a lung disease and his father at 21 to alcoholism, the hardest part is recognizing the residual traumas and little things that effect you every day from them. You’ve helped inspire me to start therapy and actually begin the healing process instead of letting those residual effects continue to bring me down everyday. Can’t wait to you in tx! My life story
I definitely understand, being light skinned has been a little bit of a struggle. I always went home to a black family at night though, so it was a lot easier for me to be comfortable being myself. The white side of my family was never really around. I appreciate you being yourself and being so transparent. Definitely a great artist!

wasn’t ever around much at all my whole life, because he was in and out of prison, unfortunately I lost him this year to drugs cause of his addictions . I was mad at him for so long but found out I’d really just want to build a real relationship with him if he was here now. So it’s relieving to hear that you’ve been through some same things. Your music has inspired me so much and I started my own music journey, I’ve been rapping for a year now and plan to nevva stop.

I remember playing xbox with someone telling me I looked like you from my facebook photo. Immediately hopped into your mixtapes and haven’t stopped since your first album. You’ve literally been with me through my life and inspired me to work towards my music career, and am now working AV in a nice hotel and gaining experience to be able to set up for live stages and meet people like you to push for my dreams. Its been amazing to see your career go how its gone and see how much its brought love to other people as much as it did for me.
My boyfriend actually introduced me to you and your music. I did new absolutely nothing about you honest. until I saw you on an award show singing about mental health and suicide then I saw a RUclips video of you rapping I thought wow this guy is talented and what did he just say? It was a rap battle between you and a fan on stage I thought wow this amazing person is very talented. But after I listen to this bright future, one of your books, when I tell you, I started listening I look up five hours later I’m like that time went by so quick because I was so invested every time I turn around I’m listening to more and more of your book. I never wanted to stop listening to it, I fell asleep, listening to it. I had to wake up and go back to chapters because I didn’t wanna miss anything. That book right there introduced me to you as a fan as an amazing artist as a person that was about your life and I loved every single minute of it. I laughed. I was angry. I cried. My emotions were all over the place. I never wanted it to end. I never wanted that book to end and when it did, I sat on my couch for a couple minutes just taking all of it in everything that I heard from your voice not anybody else’s.
