Instead of chocolate chips i use a good russian chocolate bar crushed into chips, (any good dark chocolate will fit, swiss too but it's costly) Also have mix 100 g wholenuts and 100 g roasted hazelnuts. Made this and it was perfect! I divided it into 60grams though for it to be smaller but the thickness won't change. The dough is not too sweet which we loved because the chocolate is already sweet.

Made these the exact same and it came out delicious ! U can bake them right away . They might spread a bit but it still turns out amazing ! I left some cookie dough in the fridge for a few days bc they r huge , but once i baked them they held their shape better and u get that nice thickness . U can leave them in the fridge for a few hrs or overnight and they will def look like levains 😍 10/10 would recommend this recipe and WILL b making them again soon .

I have seen recipes that require walnut to be boiled in water for 3 mins and then prebaked, this is to prevent that bitterness that comes from them sometimes.. I have seen it for a lnother chocolate chip cookies recipe

I baked it in a preheted oven at 180°C(356°F) for 7 minutes and no bitterness at all😊
