Yep, the did it to you as well. You react to the "Unleash" anime and now you want a full "Unleash" anime series with the Maids as the main characters.

Not odd mentioning Slipknot. As matter of fact Clown from Slipknot loves Band-Maid. You can find several pictures of them together on the net. There's also a video of Band-Maid playing an instrumental only cover of Duality in their studio.
The lyrics for Unleash!!!!! is about their frustrations being locked down during the pandemic and finally being able to UNLEASH themselves onto the world again. There’s an exclamation point for each member of the band. My personal interpretation of the MV itself is about the Band-Maid history. The dark clouds in the beginning depict their struggles early on but Miku's red rose blooms and is going hard on playing Thrill by herself, a reference to the long hours of practice she had to do to learn how to play. Miku looks determined and satisfied that the band is ready for the world and takes to the sky.
The maids flying across the sky while playing their instruments depict their many successful world tours. They land triumphantly on a Western US desert mountain which is a reference to their 2019 tour of NYC, Dallas and LA. They are engulfed in black cloud again, which is the Covid pandemic that happened not too long after they got back to Japan from that US tour. The next scene with them looking dejected in the studio is about the cancellation of their Live concerts due to the pandemic. They start playing again with their online shows during the lockdown and people are watching from their homes on their computers, phones and TV. In the final scene, back to the Western US mountain, a direct reference to their 2022 US tour, but this time they triumphantly plant their flag, claiming Domination of the US. They in fact dominated the stage in all 14 cities all across the US in 2022, including a large scale rock concert, Aftershock, in California.
Now, you need to react to "Unleash", the official live video from their 10th Anniversary Tour finale in Yokohama. It's on their official RUclips channel. While, it doesn't have the anime in it, it's still a rip roaring rock banger.
Showing my age but the anime, after the guitar solo, reminds me of Battle Of The Planets...my favourite cartoon as a kid. Maids are genius level chaos 🔥🥳👊🤘🤘🤘

The UNLEASH video is about how a Small Pigeon rallied a band of maids who launched a campaign for World Domination. But just as all the pieces were falling in place, including a scheduled high-profile “one-man” concert at Budokan, the pandemic cast a dark shadow across the globe, scuttling BAND-MAID’s plans. But the MAIDS were not deterred. They launched a new campaign, using the Internet to stay in touch with their fans and to win new ones, posting on RUclips songs from concert films, supporting the work of reaction channels, creating special video content for their fan club, and producing several online concerts. When things returned to normal, the band emerged stronger than ever, performing live again, and embarking on a year-long Tenth Anniversary Tour which brought them to the U.S. twice, including a set at LOLLAPALOOZA, and wrapping up finally in November, at YOKOHAMA ARENA.
I hope you might take another look with this background in mind. Also, the song becomes better as you listen to it a dozen times or so. And as you learn more about the band, you will discover many Easter eggs in the video.

Band-Maid has this certain phenomenon thing going regarding their more progy-punk hard rock and Anime written tunes. These songs are hard, complex and will totally grow on you like a thousand pound R&R leech. The Maids in this format are relentless and powerful. Their “AniMaid” (anime) Covid-fighting "Unleash!!!!!" MV and new battle gear is exciting, meaningful and classy! Theyve been invited to knotfest japan 2x, first one was cancelled due to covid, but they put on their set on yt for their fans who couldnt see them. They always put their fans first, which further endears them to us 😉
I've seen this MV many times and I keep discovering easter eggs. This time I saw that when they defeated covid by firing the light gun. When the dark cloud cleared they had shot right at China. Sly pigeon.

This anime is full of Easter eggs. The open scenes for each member is in a set from one of their other MV's. You should watch this one again after your 30 days of Band-Maid and see if you can match each member with the MV scene they are in. Then there are the Easter eggs about each of their personalities following Miku transforms. BTW...Saiki, is a huge fan of Sailor Moon, so having that ending scene having a Sailor Moon feel...probably not a coincidence. 😉 PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

Band-Maid members are mates with the Clown from Slip Knot. They have several photo snaps together! Listen to song Rinne for Slip knot type presentation. Based on Japanese movie wherein serial killer takes 8 mm film of his victims at death in attempt to capture image of their departing souls. Saiki a fan of the flick.
They were supposed to play Knotfest in Japan but it was cancelled for the pandemic lockdown, but they do have a live stream version of the Slipknot song they were going to play at Knotfest. My view of the meaning behind the video's story. The monster, the darkness, is despondency, despair, no dreams, no hope. In the first part they are all in this darkness except Miku who has her dream of the band but she needs the others. The pigeon flies and finds them and brings them out of the darkness into the light of a shared dream. That hope, that purpose gives them flight. This part is just them, personal.
Then the COVID restrictions hit, and the lifting and then renewed restrictions crush out not just their hopes and dreams but the hopes and dreams of all, worldwide. Slowly they awaken, Saiki first then the others, and little by little, dan dan didi dan dan, they start to bring the light of hope back to themselves and through their online concerts bring it back to their fans. Now they smash this monster and with renewed hope set out to bring joy back to the world through their music.
And the live version is even better. They’re simply on a level above everyone else today. Nobody matches them in variety of rock sub-genres, that much is clear.
