Hi, in 03:57 it is shown that Jira only supports CSV files, the description says "To import issues in bulk, you need to provide the data in a CSV file format." So no Excel would be supported I think.
This video was showing import of Sub tasks, not user stories and that is the reason we had effort in excel sheet. if one is importing User Stories than you can map the story points as well. In general we do not see Import at Backlog Level (Or User Story level) used frequently
Can the estmate hours be mapped to Story point ?
I made 4 videos to explain the agile estimation , the 4th one focuses on this topic : ruclips.net/video/gSJVmemODYs/видео.htmlsi=UaTPhIp_weVFwtUP
So we need to create excel sheet with all the details before importing right?
Right!
@@izenbridge Thank you for your response. Is there any video that shows how to create excel report with all the details?
Did I hear right ? Excel was saved as csv format, right ? Can it also be directly imported as excel?

Can we write tasks directly without using excel?
Yes, that is always possible.
how to write in excel if one story has multiple tasks?
In the sample video we have imported multiple tasks under single story. You just have to add more rows in excel and that many tasks will be imported
User stories metric does not use time as metric but story point in that vcase how to map from Excel sheet.
