Great job Jeff. An above average skeleton, in it's price point $250 - $400, I think. Also, I've noticed that Bulova are still using the Accutron tuning fork logo in the dress line watches. That is confusing because, like you, I thought that was to discontinue with the emergence of the higher end Accutron line.
Sometimes I am confused by Bulova. They should stick to a game plan. Are they a "mall watch" or something better? Nonetheless, I really enjoy this skeleton.
I can't decide whether the extra-large Roman numerals make the watch look modern or cartoonish… It's definitely a fun watch, and I agree that it would be more fun if it came in at a lower price point.😁
I was just getting into the hobby and saw the skeleton watch for about $400; I was about to get it in store but never had the time to do luckily I looked it up on eBay… and there I was able to get it for only $150! I have to say it does run consistently fast for me (although I’ve been doing sports while wearing it so that’s probably part of the reason) but I didn’t think much of it until seeing this video. Now I’m really glad that I didn’t get ripped off for buying it from the store, and even though it wasn’t as good of a value as I thought it’s still an extremely cool watch
Yes. This is a common practice in watch making. The reason for the IIII instead of IV is to create symmetry and balance to the dial. The opposing/ symmetrical VIII is the reason for this practice.
@@watchyouknow Well said. I have a few Precisionist chronographs I picked up for half of retail, and they're quite nice. And, of course the Lunar Pilot and I also bought the Anniversary edition. Both are excellent.
stainless steel, mineral glass, 21 jewel auto movement? lol garbage worth $200, the movement parts aren't even polished, it looks like a cheap chinese movement

eBay is fool of great deals. Always buy the seller as much as the product if you know what I mean.

How can you say it's overpriced? It's extremely reliable and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Rolex is what is extreamly overpriced IMHO .
