If they release this in English, it should be a #1 hit. Absolutely great and genre crossing.

"Campaign song" for an upcoming anime movie entitled "Oshiri Tantei", which literally means "Butt Detective". Saki said she was channeling Brian May for some of the counter-melody in the chorus. Song and lyrics written by Ryosuke Imai, best known for his work with Namie Amuro, J-Pop superstar, including the song "Hero", which was the theme for national broadcaster NHK's coverage of the 2016 Olympics. Arrangement by Nemo's usual collaborator Kensuke Akiyama.

This track was written by another song writer. Well known one from what I read. But it is being used in a new Anime movie in Japan. It is a beautiful song and Mayu sounded beautiful. All around good power ballad. Reminds me of 80s. I like the screaming growls and heavy stuff more too which is what they do mostly and will continue to release more heavy songs. Mayu loves to scream and growl. But this was very cool to see the softer side every once in awhile from them and of course they do it very well. All their albums have had a ballad this new one will too.

Since Joel doesn't like ballads or slow songs. I will predict the Roadie will not like this.
But I do. And it's good Hazuki takes the lead on this ballad. Suki had the lead on *Now I Here* ballad.

Nemophila have showed they have serious mastery of the powerballad subgenre before ("now I here" being the most recent example), but this just reinforces that. A great demonstration of their incredible versatility, too. Not many bands in the world can mix it up like Nemophila do and not lose their identity. Okay, Hanabie mix it up multiple times in a single SONG and it somehow works...but Matsuri is a legit compositional goddess.
I love how none of the instrumental members overplay on this. A ballad showcases a vocalist...their emotional range, vocal technique and interpretation, etc. Instrumental pyrotechnics (as much as Iove 'em!) are out of place. No one makes that mistake here. Hazuki's solo perfectly serves the song...etc.
My favorite band anywhere comes through again. And I'm not worried about a deficit of bangers!

Yep close I was not thinking Bon Jovi but the era. Sounds like a solid beautiful 80s 90s rock power ballad and well done.

Holy Moly! Who says you can't recreate the epic rock ballads of the 1980's?😯 If there was an English language release of this, it would probably go Platinum!😍👍👍👍

Really a change of pace for Nemophila's sound. Not the track I am going to search to listen in the album, but a track I will pleasantly listen when it comes up.

I listened to a ton of power ballads in the 80’s and couldn’t be more pleased with this. Don’t worry if you personally prefer their heavier music. Their more typical sound isn’t going anywhere. This is just their softer side of Hell, which has been on every album so far. I personally like listening to a little diversity without having to switch bands, or playlists. Great job Nemophila. ❤️🌸

thanks for the comments, would also like to read/see the English lyrics, looks like a corporate gig, for a new anime, and totally has the 80's "power ballad" vibe, piano(?), the obligatory key change towards the end to intensify the song, sounds like Warrant (like "Heaven") not sold on it, but hope it gets some radio play, not sold on the new look, but probably temporary , i know i'll get flack from their hardcore fans, but i really love them, saw them here in L.A. at The echo, mind melting show, looking forward to the new release...

Let me guess..it's a ballad so he automatically doesn't like it.. diversity in music is his weak point..Hey..I was only half right..he did say Mayu was a great singer ( fact) and it was "cool".. but also said he likes the growling metal instead..

Typical reaction....this is exactly how I thought most people including you would react to this song. If it's not what you expect or blowing
your head off....you give off the impression of mediocrity. Well let me tell you ....that song was anything but mediocre and was performed for an upcoming film !!!!! It was great to hear the softer side of Mayu gorgeous voice and the rest of the band showed how tasteful they
are. This song is much classier than the ballads from the eighty's.

Don't know why, but this didn't sound like Nemophila to me. And Ballads like this are out there more than you can count. It seems to me I heard it a thousand times before from hundreds of other Bands. Don't take me wrong, I like Nemophila. Love most of her stoff, but this is not my cup of tea. Specialy the bombastic opening. Brrrrrrr......

I didn't like this one at all, sounded like a 90s boy band song to me and just isnt my taste in music. I will still buy the album for the blu ray concert tho and hope the rest of the album isnt the same 🤞
