I was always told that you cannot learn how to fight by watching videos on RUclips, but ever since I discovered your channel, I must say I've learned quite a bit. I'm sure it's not comparable to going and training at an actual gym, but I finally figured out how to throw punches and shadowbox through your videos and through My Fight Gym's Basic Access videos. I'm certainly much more confident about my movements now than I was before discovering this channel and I'm sure I'll have a much easier time picking things up when I start training at a gym, than I would have earlier.
This "Fight Tips" one seems to be a good source of information
Thanks shane because of you now iam state champ in boxing you're videos mean a lot to me again thank you very much ♥
Devil Ayaaz Devil Ayaaz dude that's awesome

I can attest to the effectiveness of all three of these strategies. More difficult than not to do the first, my city is a bit of a fighter dry area, but I apply the last two every day.
Great vídeo bro! Thanks to Share
Congratulation from Brazil
Nice Tips! The best one I got is to always be present with your mind during training and especially sparring. Concentration is key to improving your skills!
Can you do a series on in-fighting, sadly many people get caught on the inside because they don’t understand any of it whatsoever, so if you could that would be awesome man! Thanks again keep putting out the amazing content!👍
Droné Whono he should definitely make that series
Yes, strategic shadowboxing... I need to keep that in mind when I return to training tomorrow. Thank you for making this video. 👏
Jon Jones, GSP, and floyd have some of the best fight IQ EVER. I like the point you made about strategy and not just doing random cardio, that's something I've recently discovered with a coach.
Btw, I miss fighttips furoms! good times...
Only mma channel I need is Voto Studios ése

Fight I.Q. is knowing what your doing in a fight, and goes beyond your moves and studying other fights to learn. I always make a point to use psychological warfare and my knowledge of manipulation techniques to put myself at an advantage. For example. When fighting always watch your opponents eyes, as more often than not they will be looking where they wanna hit you, so watch their eyes and guard appropriately.
Ryan O'Neill Not to belittle your point, but with the same relevance though, you don't want to over-anticipate. I've a had fights where I purposely shifted my gaze because I knew my opponent was watching my line of sight for heads up on what/where I was targeting. Even that can be used as a feint. Personally, I think The body gives away a lot more to intention.
Thank you senpai. Your lessons are invaluable and will live on forever. We the pekin ducks will use your fight tips against the geese and exterminate them once and for all.
Doesn't seem right but I'm intrigued... Go on
Yes do go on
That part about don't only watch your favorite fighters hit me hard! Thanks for that.
Thanks for the tips shane, you hace always been a big inspiration on my defense strats and offense strats when it comes to fighting and training
I'm often bullied and want to be confident when defending myself. I've won a few times but I want to be able to defend myself consistently.
I've always liked this guy.
Can I just say, fightTIPS is THE BEST!!!!! martial arts channel out there, there's no denying (loves from Brazil) 👊🥊

Dud your bad ass. I love your videos it keeps me motivated in my martial art life.
Awesome advice Shane love the videos man
Great points on thinking logistically a few exchanges forward when shadow boxing and also staying open to learning. Great as always.
I am learning Wing Chun to supplement my amateur boxing training. Use sticky hands in a boxing context. I wish to represent New Zealand at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2024 Olympics.
"Is it fighting...fight tips yeah check them out there pretty decent"

The weasel is a good fight breakdown channel
Ring IQ is about insight, insight in respect of technique, styles and above all in respect of your own strengths and weaknesses and those of your opponent. Insight is usually a gift from someone else, a coach, training partner, role model, some have it naturally. A few critical insights go a long way. Fighting's not that complex at a fundamental level. People are.
762x35mm that's just because I'm educated. Don't be intimidated.
Great video
Ive been waiting for a video like this, you should bring back the fight like series or remake some of the videos to give more updated techniques
Damn shane, back at it again with the fight videos 💪🏻👊🏻😂😤
Hey shane. So I've actually been watching and interested about MMA for like 3 years now. I've training MMA a few times but the problem is my coach and there is only 1 MMA gym in my town. The problem with that guy is that I just feel like he's very delusional and very aggressive in a way that you cant ever question what he says or even ask normal questions without him getting kinda angry in a way. And the only thing he teaches is like BJJ, almost never boxing and never wrestling. I wanna compete and eventually go pro but I just dont like my coach and what he stands for. How should I go from here? I'm ALWAYS watching your vidoes and I watch every UFC event and I try to learn as much as possible through the internet where they break down fighters and analys everything. I've been addicted to MMA since I first saw it and I feel like im destined to do this. I'm 20 years old and I just wanna know what I should do. I would appreciate if you took time to perhaps talk to me about it or make a video. Keep it up brother.
Lawrence Kenshin, Wilson Kayden, Lee Wyllie
Great video !
This is brilliant Shane! Thanks!
Thanks for this one.
great video! one of the most important aspects of fighting
Awesome tips especially the shadowboxinf
Nice another great video
Do you think you could do an mma sparring video with Vince "The Anomaly"? Nonetheless, great video!
The strategic shadow boxing seems good asf I think ima try it
Thanks Mr. Coach Shane Fazen
Good video Shane
Most Important, don’t forget to think in the ring. Don’t stop thinking. Always look at him and try to analyze his movements.
Very useful info
Shane can you do a video on how to turn over your punches please
I'm ur big fan Shane😍😍
Thats a great video
Yeah I would agree with that
How do I buy the fight tips gear ? And could you make a video on boxing gear like a cup gloves and headgear
Fight...tips? Hmm sounds familiar...maybe... Idk I thought I heard of it before probably not
Another good video love you Shane ❤️
Im just going to watch these videos everyday every once in a while till it all gets stuck in my head
Keith Gutierrez
Don't just watch tho practice his solo drills, find partners, and from time to time test yourself against fully resisting opponents. You can learn a lot from RUclips if the RUclipsr shows how to practice at home if they don't show that it is hard to learn anything from that unless you regularly attend a gym
Great content Shane.
Nice content
I’m wanting to use foresight in fights, and that’s hard to use
Great tips man. Thanks :)
Shane, how do you feel about the KSi vs logan Paul fight? Like I know you’re not in to RUclips drama. Tbh if you ever get into some drama (plz don’t) I would say you could actually get into the ring millions of people would see it look at the Manchester arena where the KSi logan fight is taking place its one of the biggest arenas in eroupe. Idk I’m just saying don’t get your self into drama but if you do remember your a boxer and it would e a huge boost in underdogs
Thanks brother
I can't seem to get my boxing together I'm near giving up cause I feel like when I ask coaches for stuff to do out the gym they always say they will give me workout and I just can't find one online they never actually tell me anything useful and the other boxers don't want to share information
Nice tips
Train with better people with you so you realize how much better you have to get.
Watch fights and film study so you understand the level where you can take your techniques and be a better on the spot strategy maker.
Strategic shadow boxing so you give sometime to yourself alone and do it as its a fight for the world championship real calm real accurate real defensive and try to be as accurate as possible.
Always the best!!!!
GOOD VIDEO!!😁👊👊
Could you fo a video on how to make a homeade boxing ring? Thanks!
Really informative video 👍
Can you do a video of the best supplements for boxers
Yo no lies but this video was helpful 💯💯
hey man .......,. can you do a video on shadow wrestling ????
Shane Fazen, You are the best. Keep it up dude. Seeing your face on my screen makes me smile😘(I'm a dude. No homo).
Do a video on Logan an KSi have you seen everybody’s channels blowing up at the minute
I use this for kingdom come deliverance
i used tip 3 for developing defenses against attacks without having to use a partner.
Im training boxing in a gym, but i practice what ive learn from friends who practice other stuff by myself or with them... I wanted to start a new training routine, doing weight lifting one day, grapling arts the next one, caliesthenics the next, next striking arts, plyometrics and overcoming isometrics next, arts that have both grapling and striking next, rest one day, repeat next week... The idea is to go light in all those, im not a pro fighter and i dont need to be one... Do you think this routine is good?
Btw, for sparing i want to do different rules different times... Like... Grapling day could be sumo rules first, catch rules next, bjj last... Striking day could be boxing first, taekyon rules next, muay thai last... And mixed would be sanda first, shoot boxing next, mma last... What do you think?
You mentioned you train in boxing at a gym so if you have a strong background in that then yeah it should be fine but if not then no I wouldn't recommend it here's why...
You learn through repetition this is why boxers are so good and yet they have very few strikes and don't address so many things that are needed in a street fight.
If you are only training one art once a week it take a long time to get good and understand the movement therefore most likely you will take years to get a good grip on what your doing and will most likely form bad habits meanwhile... You would be better off learning one extra style at a time and focus on perfecting the fundamentals...
For instance I started with boxing and learned karate then went back to boxing then learned Muay Thai then went back to boxing then learned wing Chun then went back to Muay Thai and boxing now I'm focusing on jui jitsu and some reality based self defense but still train some of my older styles from time to time.
As for sparring keep it light most of time and try to use your current style against the other styles you are sparring... And yeah trying under different rules is a great idea especially if you keep it light
Central Coast Self Defense thanks, my boxing is kinda good... I used to practice subakdo for years, wich is my "main style" it has a bit of everything... But not much of anything... (its like... 50%kicks 45%punches and 5% standing grapling techniques) i started boxing to have better punching techniques... What i know of grapling outside of subakdo comes from friends who practice judo, bjj and "police self defense" (violent takedowns and wristlocks) my idea is to do sparing with those rules instead of learning those styles in particular... Sooner or later, rulesets will shape the fighters style, right? At least that is what i believe.
Last one was super
Thanks Shane...
thanks . your blessed.
Can you make a video about shuffleing and when it's useful?
Holy shit he did the slow down speed up matrix thing in real life
Agree 💯✊ especially with the shadow boxing
Jeebus I just saw your doppelganger from 1987. Robert Duncan McNeil, masters of the universe 1987
