@CookieFrog :3 Yeah You Should Talk Back To Them,Not To Get You Hurt,But We Just Have To Say Our Thought On How Unfair It Is To Treat Children Like That,And Old People Are Supose To Help Kids Have a better Future,Right?
@jersey devil When she looked wealthy she was a stranger too. They still treated her well. The reason she was treated poorly was bc she looked homeless which is frankly illogical.
@jersey devil So what? One, the privileged do just as much harm, they commit tax fraud, oppress people, etc. This is coming from someone who would be considered privileged and has seen first hand the crimes of the rich. Secondly, the reason why less privileged people are more likely to commit crimes like petty theft is because they don't have enough to live on. It is the wealthy who have put the poor in the position they are in. Thus, it is the responsibility of the wealthy to fix systematic problems and not blame the symptoms of these problems on the poor. The people who ignored the girl when she looked dirty are more worried about losing a couple of dollars than about the fact that there is a child who is potentially in danger. All they had to do was offer help, and maybe keep their wits about them incase she tried something. But they could have AT LEAST tried to help. Instead, they care more about themselves than about the people that struggle on a daily basis bc of the system they support. Plus, even if you want to take a cynical perspective, a person who looks wealthy has just as much ability to cause harm as a person who looks poor or homeless. A person in a suit can still rob you or assault you. In fact, they do so on a daily basis when they make millions of dollars and spend it on pointless luxuries instead of aiding those in need. The misconception of less privileged people being "dangerous" is just that, a misconception. All people have equal potential to cause harm but that doesn't mean we should let innocents suffer. I could debate this all day, but I am busy and my hands hurt from typing so this is all I'm gonna say for now.
@jersey devil I mean all I am saying is that that feeling is dumb. I personally just feel sad when I see people in need. I also feel angry and guilty. But that doesn't mean that I have a reason to ignore them and so I don't. My friends and I used to go into the grocery store and buy oranges to hand out to people we saw asking for money on the street. You can just do little things like that or even just saying hello. Idk man, sorry if I came off as aggressive, I don't mean to be, I am just passionate about this :)
@jersey devil Fair enough. I am 18 so im probably still young and idealistic and all that. I agree that it can be weird to approach someone, and so it depends on the situation whether or not someone will feel comfortable approaching someone on the street bc of that. I have social anxiety so believe me when I say I understand. However, in this specific case, it is a 6 year old girl. I think it should be simple to just approach and politely ask if she needs help. Where I live I have never seen a little kid who was homeless (I don't go out much anyway), but I am confident that if I were to see a kid like that, my desire to help would outweigh the awkwardness of approaching a stranger. After all, a little awkwardness is worth it if you can help someone.
Missing the point of the video. She is treated differently based on her physical appearance. People pay more attention to cute well dress girl than a cute untidy child in rags. Maybe children begging is common in that nation and thus the avoidance of the child in rags. But child is child, we need to stop and treat all child the same. Children shouldn't be on the street anyway.
Theresa Gordon that man made her cry poor baby homeless people are also people and it's worse when they are children and if they are adults people call them lazy and it honestly breaks my heart
Well +Gabby Adams your one of those fucked up people that say its sad but really wouldn't do anything but kick them out. I mean damn when you can say that and say you're being honest and be ok with it, there is something wrong with you. You should always try to do something at least for a child in need to many people who will do nothing even when they say they care or feel bad its easier to do nothing so i'd count that as lazy as well guess you have much in common with the homeless adults.
Just come and see situation of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Yemen. People are dying with hunger, poverty and malnutrition. No child labor restriction. All are blind in our surrounding . People are think for themselves mean. This nasty world become mean. they want fragrance and beauty. Think what world say, what public think about you. Why we are too much obsessed from inside. This video made me shock and cry. Then we say why God give us punishment like Corona. Unicef blind when small kids , baby women, old and parents with children are dying in Syria, yemen, iraq and palestine. Corona Virus is one of the punishment from God. It cant see rich, middle class, poor. It takes the life to whom it want. Its nature of God. :'(
It happens in my country also. I'm from India. And I can tell you this because I've experienced it. Whenever I go other places for sports competition, my appearance changes like this kid in 2nd scene and most strangers behave rudely with me. At first it hurted me a lot but now I'm a little used to it. Sorry I'm bad in English
But some reason they left the bag right where it is was when she was a "rich" and even gave her money!! But for some reason they didn't give money to her when she was "poor"
The thing is, if the child is dressed more „average“, a human would think the child is lost, but if it looks homeless, you would think differently. Lets be real here
@@odd.7828 The thing is, in different countries besides America, people are taught not to give things to poor looking children. It's because a lot of the children were being forced into begging out on the streets for food, money, etc.
@@odd.7828 Thing is, a lot of people force their children to beg for money. I went to egypt or something (somewhere around there, I think near Cairo) and there was a child that kept hugging my father begging him to buy stuff. A huge thank you to everyone who has watched, shared, liked, or commented on our video. Children living and working in the streets are the most disadvantaged and left-behind. They have no access to education and health services. Often they are unregistered and subject to various forms of violence and also experience a high stigma and neglect from society. Every child has the right to a fair chance in life. We have a choice: Invest in the most excluded children now or risk a more divided and unfair world. "Every child has the right to a fair chance in life" I disagree. If you are trully humanity defenders, than the right sentence is "every human has the right to a fair chance in life" therefore those two sentences are mutually exclusive. I have my right to have my life without continuing interrupting by overcrowding nations.
Hey, why don't you be the one who will start the change. All you need to do is to lower the salaries to your corrupt CEO's for a few million dollars. They can also lower the amount of yacht parties and cocaine abuse. Trust me, dozens of children will be safe. Im meaning this also for Red Cross (highly corruptive organization). BTW we don't need your video, we already know what's going on in the world.
It's fine they choose not to help. But they have no right to stop anyone making a video, a change. Mockery doesn't make themselves live better, but making them feel better. Take it or leave it, l*ser
"Oliver Twist" may be a work of fiction but many people fear the stranger... I also mentioned that in the States men fear to be accused of being a pedophile. I might only approach the child in the company of others... but her attire wouldn't put me off: I've dealt with drug addicts.

I remember when I was in cafe in outside, and a few gypsy kids approached to our table. They were thirsty, so I gave them to drink water from my glass. The people from around looked at it with disgust. That is why we still have many things to learn, because our selfishness doesn't seem to have an end. Don't put stigma on innocent children. Protect them every time you have a chance. DO NOT miss that valuable moments.
I remember once when I was little, I got lost in a huge shopping mall. I was wondering around looking for my mother, part of me wanted to leave the mall and go home. But then this nice man cam up to me and helped me find my mother. Honestly, it's sad to think that if I was dressed differently that I may have wandered off out the mall and who knows what may have happened.

In INDIA we have cartel which makes kids like these and scam people... this video missed the other side of the truth.....if you dont give them money they will fall on your feet on the road and make you embarrass and guilt...and the money you give them is not for them and it is snatched by cartels..
do not forget pedoph. witch hunt, if you get close to a small child, people will accuse you of pedoph. It is far better to stay away from anyone. Besides, she can have diseases from her country, which you may be not resistant. Like sars, ebola, aids, etc. which all emerged from poor countries.
true.... and so this problem requires a lot more seriousness.. giving them work will be child labour, and giving them food will not be enough. I think this video is more about making us think from more perspectives and open discussion.
But you can't blame him because it happens. one night I was standing with a little boy outside but I crossed the road and I saw my bag open i Clearly remember it was closed he tried to stole my stuff. That night was so upset not because he was stealing but because what could have happened to that child to do such things that's genuinely upsetting ☹😭
yeah.. thats very sad.. But you can't really blame him.. Because that can happened, considering it's today's society.. Sorry my english is not that good..
You cant blame them, if you see a homeless looking kid you would assume that theyre used to living in the streets and when youre dressed nice and alone its very obvious that theyre either lost or waiting for their parents
Make sense, cause probably if they are not rude, they thought that she was used to live at street. With how she look, i probably thinking the same. Not because i didnt want to help her but i dont know what truly happen to that child. At indonesia there is alot of poor people living on the street. And when there is a poor child standing on a street, we all know that they live on a street without asking. But, you dont need to ask to a child that live in the street -_- You can just offer them food. Cause you know they are homelees. Thats enough for helping- Or maybe you can ask them a lil quetion about them when you want to help it

I cried. It breaks my heart how people would push a 6 year old girl away when she really needed help. If she came up to me I would do anything to help her.
The moment when she cried is no longer an experiment or part of her act!!! It was her own sense of feeling that she realize how people treat you if you look different from their eyes!!!! ........ That moment the little girl knew the sad reality of the society!!!!🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
They dont want you to see this. They want you to care about some gay person sipping chai at some fancy Starbucks downtown bitching about how their feelings are far superior than other people's actual lives. :)
So many young people are watching this and other things making this world a better place,i hope one day the majority of us are the ones who love and care
But to see in another perspective, you know we are not seeing the full picture. Small details which can cause huge changes, example being: what time is the experiment taking place? Is it a weekend or public holiday? Are the behaviours of both situations the same? Since the experiment wanted to check on clothes only that's the only factor that is variable to reduce inaccuracy. Plus, its only 1 of each situation, so it's really difficult to determine from a research perspective.
I just dont understand why others are hate the ppl who didnt help. Usually thesse kids are sent out to steal, adult send them cuz they looks cuter ect and there is a bigger chance that they get something. i think ill be offended but its the truth, in my country amd i think not only here if u give money to a hemeless/poor person they spend it on alcohol, if u give them food against money they will put it into the trash or want something better.
That is true in a lot of places, but I would have still offered her food and water. And I would have brought her to the police so they can help her futher
@@abyssal_phoenix this would be the best solution for this issue. the fact that things are like this doesn't mean that there is nothing we could do to play our part
Such a heart-touching video. It's unfortunate most humans don't look beyond appearance and this has indeed limited the help that these little ones need most.
Personally, I live in France and people dress kids up to make them look homeless, so they will get money. Sometimes even drugging them all to get money. I was taught to ignore them just in case it was a similar situation. So they might’ve just been taught that.
My duty is to save a rich girl and a poor girl in any circumstances. If she is poor, I will go to her and talk to her. If she is rich, I will go to her and talk to her. She is a girl no matter what
Excuse me why are you so against to video guys? Maybe, it reminded you how mean you are? This video is a good experiment because it shows how politics turn us into monsters. These people who eat in the restaurant didn't have to say go away, they could ask first what do you want or try to give a food. Even they are poor or criminal they are children first and no child must be treated in this way! Once you were a child too, do you remember?
MH 10001 that's not the main problem, heck that's not even a problem. The problem is that these kids don't want to change themselves. And we can't force them too. Legally, their parents decide what to do with them, until it's decided otherwise (like their parental rights are taken away or something). The kids that are on the streets are highly unlikely to ever recover from their state. What you are saying about social skills and schools is very true but that is more apliable to very poor children that do have houses"" and their parents do make an effort The children on the streets, while not being directly at fault for their situation, cause they are children, know what it is about. They simply don't care and won't care. For one, you can't forcefully take them out of the streets, as I mentioned before. To give them food? Yeah, sure, but that doesn't mean I should be comfortable with a potential thief inside a store where I payed to stay. Let's assume for a moment it was a dirty adult hobo that entered? Would you sit them at the table too? No, of course not. And hobo adult know this and train their children to go inside because they know people are going to be more emotionally inclined to help the child and disregard the potentially vile intentions.
I actually started tearing bc I am a 10 year old kid and we all kids have the same feeling to each other and I think that we all need to learn how our feelings are and how are lives are..... :( but I am not saying u guys should be responsible or anything we all kids just wants some care and love....
Unfortunately it's not about being rich and clean or poor and dirty. It's about a social fenomenon: many poor families exploit their children to beg for money or to steal things, because people are more incline to help children. That's why people became diffident :/
As a 17 year old, I feel bad for people who are poor. They need help. Clothes and looks are nothing but the outside, But if a kid is poor, and she needs actual help, so they should help.
I seriously can’t believe that a restaurant full of people ,and not one decent soul in there to comfort a child in need because of her appearance truly Disgusting !!!

You are not educated enough to write a single grammatically correct sentence. You are definitely not a journalist. Go away and take your fake charity with you.
Okay but its understandable since they are scared of them stealing their belongings away. Its not like they wanted to do her bad, they are just scared of the worse scenario. The world is not as safe as you think it is. I've walk in the city before and witnessed a kid in dirty clothings stole a laptop from someone.
If you think that way, if you are disgusted is because you have way more privilege that a lot of people out there including me, if you had money just enough to eat that week, and get robbed by a child that “was lost” and starve all week, wouldn’t think the same, in my country children are used along with pregnant women and old people to rob, sometimes you can even get killed, a child will come to you and tell you he’s lost, will take you to where he last saw his mother and there will be other people, they will kill you to rob you, that’s the kind of situation a lot of countries have to live, a pregnant women will act like she’s having an abortion and distract you and others will rob you, a person will lay on the ground of a street and when the person in the car gets out will be killed to rob him the car, that’s life for a lot of us, of course that makes us think more than twice before helping, because we don’t have enough ourselves to just get robbed or killed, I wouldn’t risk to get robbed and see the money my mum worked until she was exhausted to get, go, if I had more money I would try to help more, because if I lose money I wouldn’t care, but unfortunately I do care, and a lot because that’s my economic situation, I only can afford help stray animals because if I buy a bread and feed them they’ll thank me with their tails and they wouldn’t betray me, but children do betray, I know that’s how adults raised them, and it does break my heart to see children on the street, my country is full of corruption, I hate how things are, I hate to see people on the streets, I hate to see children working, or disabled people begging for help, but I can’t do nothing to change it, and I can’t risk my own sacrifices, my mum’s sacrifices, or even my life to “try to help”, sometimes people have to be selfish, if you’re wasting money to pay internet instead of helping homeless children then you’re choosing you’re own well being over others, and that doesn’t make you a horrible person, people have the right to want happiness, and if that means trying to not get robbed then you can’t not judge them.
It hurts me really..makes me crying..she's just kid we must not care about her shape, colour, relgion and from where she's coming from..she is human ..all of us brothers and sisters..all of us come from one father..Adam..and one mother..Eve..so we must love, help and protect each other under the name of hummanty not humlity ...
I am glad that they posted this on internet as this should be a part of general awareness and I try to make my family to contribute to the poor as much as we can but we are not able to during the covid situation.
In argentina is really easy to get robbed by this kids... so we dont even talk to them if they are alone... the same happens in other countries.... so...
there is no right to swap your problems that might influence your opinion on children around the world. Second this idea to rob doesn't come from the children themselves it is made by their parents or grown-up people around her. So you shouldn't treat the children wrong. They are innocent. They are forced to do this. To solve these problems we have to make a change. In helping families in finances and support cities countries to come over poverty or to solve criminal issues. In every way, we need to help. @matiashernanlauriti you are right partly but there are several ways to change this so it doesn't have to be a steady opinion.
And that's why I love being Portuguese! I could bet putting my hands on fire, if that goes in Portugal people would help this little girl, no matter if she was good or badly dressed, clean or dirty.
You're actually right. God only knows Portugal has its fare share of pricks, especially on the roads, but we actually have a lot of decent caring people as well. I'm pretty sure the little one would find help well dressed or not from younger and older people.
In Georgia, Tbilisi, we have a lot of Gypsy kids, they dressed her exactly like that, who are slaves to their 'masters' (they steal, beg, scam, whatever to get money), and if you try to 'help' one of them, you may end up in a big trouble, as from other Gypsis, as well as from the government.
Poor girl she just wanted the world to be a better place so that everyone can be kind look how people treated her when she had normal clothes and she had everything .
I just don’t have words to express on this act, UNICEF has taught us many things and this should be one of the most important on the list. Now this is clear that if those people knew they were filmed they would add the 100% acting on it, but in real life...... Shame on ourselves. Thousands of lives are pushed a side every year, we must learn from our mistakes and repeating them.
It is very sad to see all these people in the restaurant ignoring a small child, of course they all had to help, had / have money to buy some food, or even a small glass of water, but instead simply looked, away their bags and pretended that the child did not exist, only one person cared, and that one person asked to withdraw the child, honestly where is the humanity of humans? Does anyone could call a protective organ for children or simply ask if she was all right? The same goes for the scenes on the street, if you see a child in the street ALONE you HAVE TO HELP !!! Does the appearance counts a lot as well? You just help who wears clean clothes? And for all the other people who say they have no money to give or some food to someone who has nothing to eat, I do not believe you. Some of you say they have families to care for and feed, but as will be WHO HAS NO FAMILY ?? The world will not get better if you do not at least make an effort so that it is Think about it, and next time, help those who need it, REGARDLESS of who is.
this video is filmed in a place (Georgia, Tbilisi) where no one can trust a homeless person!! it's wrong that they're showing us only this part.. in Tbilisi there are many homeless people that go around the streets and ask for money, including children.. these kids ask you for money cause they say they are hungry. if you tell them you'll buy them food, they'll ask for money again and if you don't give them money then you'll get a kick in the ankle, or they will spit on you...
They shouldn’t have even bothered blurring out those people’s faces. Let people see who they are. I hope they are disappointed in themselves because words can hardly begin to explain how angry I am right now.

Theresa Gordon Actually children begging is not usual there ( whole scene plays in Georgia ) . I’m Georgian ;)

@@odd.7828 The thing is, in different countries besides America, people are taught not to give things to poor looking children. It's because a lot of the children were being forced into begging out on the streets for food, money, etc.
@@odd.7828 Thing is, a lot of people force their children to beg for money.

Since the experiment wanted to check on clothes only that's the only factor that is variable to reduce inaccuracy. Plus, its only 1 of each situation, so it's really difficult to determine from a research perspective.

Once you were a child too, do you remember?
yeah, except I didn't spit on people or stole their stuff.
thats why actual nice "beggars" are rare these days. With all the gangs forcing these kids to beg and give the money to them
MH 10001 that's not the main problem, heck that's not even a problem. The problem is that these kids don't want to change themselves. And we can't force them too. Legally, their parents decide what to do with them, until it's decided otherwise (like their parental rights are taken away or something).
The kids that are on the streets are highly unlikely to ever recover from their state. What you are saying about social skills and schools is very true but that is more apliable to very poor children that do have houses"" and their parents do make an effort
The children on the streets, while not being directly at fault for their situation, cause they are children, know what it is about.
This is why aliens dont visit earth

In argentina is really easy to get robbed by this kids... so we dont even talk to them if they are alone... the same happens in other countries.... so...
Yeah, obviously. You're missing the bigger picture.
there is no right to swap your problems that might influence your opinion on children around the world.
I could bet putting my hands on fire, if that goes in Portugal people would help this little girl, no matter if she was good or badly dressed, clean or dirty.
portugese people are very friendly and nice ppl why is that..??
Makes sense yes where it was taken, and of what origin those people were.
