Watching this from Toronto as I get ready to move to Calgary in May but also remembering that last May I was at Cannes and Villefranche myself, I wish I was able to move to Europe instead! Grass is always greener haha. Watched all your Calgary videos btw! Great stuff

Thank you for taking me around Nice again, haven't been able to do for real since 2018 and I miss it so much! Fingers crossed for next year. Have you been in the elevator up to the cascades above the old town? Amazing views up there and a little park for the girls with beautiful mosaic paths. Very picturesque. 😀

SNCF is Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer 😊 Trains are great on Côte d'Azur, except when they're on strike... which can happen a lot 😅 You should go to Eze village also, it's really nice. Have fun!

She did a whole video explaining their move from Canada to France. Highly recommend watching it.

I wonder if you miss anything from Canada ? You look sooooo much happier :-)

Sorry that was such a generalization. I moved from Germany to Canada and I’m soooo homesick lately.
Thanks for your channel I watch all the time.
You really do have such a happier energy though. Glad everything seems to be working out so well

I can’t say that I’m much happier to be honest. Living in Canada made more sense to me. Here I don’t speak the language, don’t have any friends or a job, all I’ve been working on in Canada doesn’t translate into anything worthwhile here. Yes, it’s beautiful, but it’s not a home yet.

@@markusgumbmann188 I had the same homesick feeling shortly after we moved to the US. I am originally from Ukraine but spent a couple of years living in Switzerland. I missed Europe with its culture and nature, with the ability to travel to other countries every single weekend (Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Sweden). But after living here for more than 6 years I have so many friends from the US and Canada, so many options to work with great companies and people. I still cannot believe how incredible and diverse nature is in North America. Or Hawaii. If we move somewhere else, it would be Canada. Of course, pandemic ruined so many plans and locked so many countries, and being so far from our parents made the situation even worse. But it will not last forever. When I was a little kid and lived in Kyiv it took more than 24 hours to visit my mother’s parents who lived in the Eastern part of Ukraine and now it takes less than 16 hours to get from SF to Kyiv. Try to remind yourself why you’ve made this decision to move so far. Usually, our emotions give us wrong thoughts. When I have a vacation in Europe, it takes a week or so for me to realize that I am so American:)

I remember this feeling all too well from when I first moved from Ukraine to the UK. I also remember that it didn’t last long and how happy I was in England.
