well tbh , i will agree that this game is the best NFS ever , but people who have played this game shud realize that its also awesome cuz of the illogical shit thats in this game: this glitches , the features, the cops at times, and the "car is a tank ,except the tires" thing was wat made this game loved by many. so yes, ik that this game wud be piked up for the "amazing " glitches, but im happy i played this game to see all of its faults and perfections. still is amazing :)
I dunno about that though. I don't think there's anything 'amazing' abut using a pursuit breaker only to get glitched into it and helplessly lose all your pursuit progress. Really doesn't sound like fun to me.
Blaze Kazama well, on that part, i used to get pissed off bout it too. if u press the "reset position of car" button and ur near a cop, its game over for ur car. it was wat every NFS player went through anyways, but i hear ya. but for me, in my opinion, thats the thing. if my car was towed, id use another car and go to races that i have to do or thats already finished, do my favorite part of of the game (MILESTONES, CUZ IMMA TANK BITCH, IMMA WRECK COP CARS ASSES! ) to get it back, and it was fun for me (although the thought of losing ur car was sick and maddening ) and it helped prolong the longevity of the game even more . and yes, i know i sound like im praising it, like its the greatest glitch to force players to play the game longer thanks to it, but im just saying that in coincidence, it just works in ways. trust me, it might not sound fun, but you have the better chance to kick them cops ass to retrieve the car, cuz UR CAR A TANK , AND U KNOW IT! just dont go over the spikes and dont go at corners and stop wen there are more than 4 cars, and you'll be A OK. also, when using a pursuit breaker, dont go in it completely , and make sure you are going full speed WITH the cops on your ass. or else the glitch happens of getting stuck.
I had a time where a heavy SUV smashed into my Mitsubishi Eclipse and got sent to the moon. I love how this game just says "Physics? What are physics?"
Sorin Silverheart LOL for me i had that moment when my car was hit sideways by the HEAVY SUV's ,and the car literally not only pushed a police sports from its roadblock and destroyed it, but i also managed to fly over the spikes .....good times mate XD
I like it how they put the same bus station in NFS World. And instead of fixing AI pathfinding, they just put barriers blocking player from getting up there
The driving physics are actually pretty good but physics physics is actually terible. I mean its a 13 year old game, youre being a little too hard on it.
Freezorg they made the physics that way to make pursuits enjoyable. If it had u2 physics your car would always flip over or get rammed too easily by cops
These glitches must have been exclusive to pc, cause I play the PS2 version, and have never seen any of these glitches (except for the opponent cars being immovable)
I loved this game as a kid, and I'm pretty sure I'd still enjoy it if I played it now, but this video was funny as hell and exposed me to so much jank that I didn't even know the game had. One of my strategies was to hide in the stadium, which the cops never check with a few rare exceptions. It also has two pursuit breakers, so I'd use it constantly. I even won the final pursuit using it.
there was place near police station where you destroy cell tower and you jump to other side of concrete terase and you stay there ,they never catch you.I left my viper there and went to shopping outside ,well for 2 hours too gather bontys and i never got arrested even cross was crashing down there
People also rank MW above U1 and U2 because it's pretty much the best implementation of cop chases in the entire NFS series, so it offers a new dimension of replayability
Ahnaf Abdullah The handling wasn't bad at all in HP2010. They achieved what they wanted to do and it probably has the best drift style physics I've seen in a game. So don't crash? It punishes you when you crash so just git gud and avoid crashing. Nothing good comes out of crashing anyway.
@@blazekazama1793 when you've played enough nfs games and when you're a true fan, you realize that crashing into stuff is definently fun. This is proven by crashing into the cop cars in nfs mw or crashing into those racers in nfs u2, it makes you feel like as if you're the king of the world. Sigh....good days!
The part where you're on the roof above the cops is so effective that speedrunners of this game use it all the time to get the police chase requirements out of the way quickly. HOWEVER, I have actually seen a speedrunner that wasn't paying attention and a cop figured it out and punted him off the roof where he was then busted immediately. 10/10
Manually resetting your position is an instant loss because you can cheese getting out of box formations and the like. The only way for resetting to be valid is if the game determines that it's impossible for you to continue (like getting completely flipped over) and resets you itself.
I was once doing a challenge series where I had to survive for 15 minutes. I took out all the cops and I hid under the stadium enterance with the helicopter flying circles on my head under 5 minutes. Now here's what happened, backup was called but NO COP CARS SPAWNED NEAR ME until I moved! And the bar wasn't moving from the blank area so I ended up cheesing the challenge by AFK-ing for 15 minutes and when I decided to get out and evade, the chopper glitched out and was stuck circling where I was sitting lol

In NFS Payback, stranger things happen: Your regera can front flip in a jump, AIs Start "Flying around" due to not slowing down for corners, AIs are ez to take down, your car can act like it crashed into bump but it didnt.
The traffic in roadblock despite being a bug kinda makes sence with the news van, the scary ones are the ones when the tractor trailer is used in a roadblock but it covers the whole road and the only way through it is underneath the trailer which just so happens to have a spike strip across it.

@Nies No seriously, of course i got stuck under some of the obstacles as well but I wouldn't necessarily call that a bug since that's what they should do (at least to the cop cars).
Obviously, all these glitches happened at least one time to me. But it isn't like each glitch happens every 3 seconds and the whole game is just a buggy mess. Nah. It's a whole 3-hour livestream we're talking about there. At some point, the game would eventually not work correctly.
Dude, the roadblock glitch makes sense now. I had a helicopter spike strip in a pursuit once, like the legit police chopper but it was sitting there in place of where a cop car would be. Always wondered if it actually happened or I was using my little kid imagination lol.
In need for speed carbon, personally I've found you hit that invisible wall of not being able to escape once there are around 70 cops "pursuing" you, if the game doesn't crash first. A similar thing happened in Carbon on the freeway between 21st and Bushido Territories IIRC where if you park your car above a tunnel, you can "egg" Cop Cars to notice you, and if cop cars came from behind you, you can trick them into driving off the tunnel top a/or push them off.
well tbh , i will agree that this game is the best NFS ever , but people who have played this game shud realize that its also awesome cuz of the illogical shit thats in this game: this glitches , the features, the cops at times, and the "car is a tank ,except the tires" thing was wat made this game loved by many. so yes, ik that this game wud be piked up for the "amazing " glitches, but im happy i played this game to see all of its faults and perfections. still is amazing :)
I would hate it if the car could get wrecked, like in the newer games, I stopped playing all the new games because of that, was super annoying
13:56 "Oh look, it's your favorite, the gas station!"
*police corvette instantly jumps on it* XD
You can only blame yourself for constantly driving so slow to those police traps and getting stuck every time :D
9:19 love this song
Ice cube : It was a good day
It is normal to get stuck you don't suppose to go that slow
9:09 Damn that song... It was in GTA San Andreas.
Yeah, in Ryder's mission cutscenes
The physics in this game are the reason I never finished it. It always felt like driving on ice.
I like it how they put the same bus station in NFS World.
And instead of fixing AI pathfinding, they just put barriers blocking player from getting up there
The driving physics are actually pretty good but physics physics is actually terible. I mean its a 13 year old game, youre being a little too hard on it.
To EA, Newton's laws are just a suggestion.
@@metallicafan352 😂😂😂
Pretty good? How?
Yeah but like
How could they get it so wrong when NFSU2 did it so right
Freezorg they made the physics that way to make pursuits enjoyable. If it had u2 physics your car would always flip over or get rammed too easily by cops
Yeah, the game DOES literally RARILY use ANY traffic vehicle. Even a semi or very rarily a CHOPPER
I love how the Pepega mod fixes this game by breaking it even more.
“I’m gonna pound you into the pavement”
Meanwhile: 12:53
These glitches must have been exclusive to pc, cause I play the PS2 version, and have never seen any of these glitches (except for the opponent cars being immovable)
I loved this game as a kid, and I'm pretty sure I'd still enjoy it if I played it now, but this video was funny as hell and exposed me to so much jank that I didn't even know the game had. One of my strategies was to hide in the stadium, which the cops never check with a few rare exceptions. It also has two pursuit breakers, so I'd use it constantly. I even won the final pursuit using it.
his laugh tho
there was place near police station where you destroy cell tower and you jump to other side of concrete terase and you stay there ,they never catch you.I left my viper there and went to shopping outside ,well for 2 hours too gather bontys and i never got arrested even cross was crashing down there
People also rank MW above U1 and U2 because it's pretty much the best implementation of cop chases in the entire NFS series, so it offers a new dimension of replayability
I liked Hot Pursuit 2010 cop chases better.
I think the cop is chases are an annoying gimmick tbf
I hated Hot Pursuit 2010 because of the bad handling and 'car health', showing a dumb cutscene every time you crash against the walls

It's amazing how badly those early 2000s Cadillac CTS age in quality

Ah... back when Super_Noodle actually played games and didn't hide his discord behind a paywall.

@@Asvp_Chamoy Playing the game he hated.. War Thunder
When the news station say they always involved in every scene, those guys aint joking
NFS most wanted was a good game even if it was broken
9:47 I lost it. Done.
thanks for making my evening, haven't had such a great laugh in a while
Holy shit, I haven’t seen the name Cingular in years.
Oh yeah, the game. Hur dur buggy fun.
10/10
Also a couple of time I would see an 18 wheeler in the air flipping. Lol
Manually resetting your position is an instant loss because you can cheese getting out of box formations and the like. The only way for resetting to be valid is if the game determines that it's impossible for you to continue (like getting completely flipped over) and resets you itself.
God I love that sub sound
"AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
This guy on chat when the Helicopter kicks in - "Pilot's having a seizure" - I'm lost for words :D
There was a CTS in Most Wanted?
I think so
Yes, there was.
Playing the videogame equivalent of toy cars as an adult and complaining you cant take it seriously.
should've dove into it when you were much younger you'd have had a great time.
He mentioned that he played this game before.
@@thearousedeunuch then why is he complaining if he didn't enjoy the game?. He should stick to the modren day crap instead(no offense). Besides, he's one of the only special kids who complain about this glorious game!
@@IncredulousMisanthrope He's just pointing out faults that the game had, and shows footage of said faults. I bet that if he made a video on newer Need For Speed titles he would complain about their faults aswell.
Personally, I love Need For Speed: Most Wanted. I think that it's one of the best racing games ever. However, that does not mean that it's exempt from valid criticism.
@@thearousedeunuch oh ok thanks for letting me know fam.
In NFS Payback, stranger things happen: Your regera can front flip in a jump, AIs Start "Flying around" due to not slowing down for corners, AIs are ez to take down, your car can act like it crashed into bump but it didnt.
im glad i wasted almost 15 minutes watching a boomer over rev a cadilliac cts in 2nd gear
The traffic in roadblock despite being a bug kinda makes sence with the news van, the scary ones are the ones when the tractor trailer is used in a roadblock but it covers the whole road and the only way through it is underneath the trailer which just so happens to have a spike strip across it.
the fact that he doesn't play burnout vexes me and pisses me off at the same time. and not the earlier burnouts, the good ones like burnout 3 and revenge
Paradise wasn't a good Burnout?
Revenge is like the worst Burnout though, that Traffic Check system made the game boring

Can't remember any bugs from when I played it from the disc...
Lol they made him reset but thats insta bust with cops
9:53 *Casually doing wall burnout*
*Cop suicides in background*
And somehow the NFS 2015 cops are even more incompetent
Sitting on the bus station like that used to be one of my favorite things to do in this game.

In need for speed carbon, personally I've found you hit that invisible wall of not being able to escape once there are around 70 cops "pursuing" you, if the game doesn't crash first. These guys never cease to amaze me. Funny enough, NFS carbon was my childhood on original Xbox even though regardless of the disc it constantly froze.
Ahhh nostalgia.
