Mine runs just fine on Win10. There's a patched version that got released not long after the game since the game only worked on some GPUs. Try downloading and playing that.

The energy you see stored in the spinning weapons today is insane. It also leads to spectacular failure because some machines literally can’t take the power of the weapons. A robot called “Apex” in Robot Wars self destructed and launched its spinning bar through the bullet proof glass.

as for the how to do it part, consider installing it either using a USB or disk on a partition on your hardrive. Or you could get a virtual box to run on your local machine.

The game was so fucking cheesy with its scoring system, we actually just hit a bot once to get ahead in points and just drive around until time was up, so we won all the time and still had enough time in between rounds to fix up your bot. Because ofcourse, for some reason the AI's bots would always be in perfect condition

If you play Stock RA2, then ye 1.4 patch helps with compatibility (although, comp mode helps, using W7 personally)
