I bought a used 2018 Sierra 1500 1.5yrs ago that had Alpha Rex headlights and the halogen connectors you showed us at 1:05 became corroded on mine. I didn't know anything about these headlights until I started having issues with the truck cranking and not starting. Come to find that those connectors corroded and moisture got in caused the crank no start issue. Is there a way to change/fix the wiring without having to buy new headlights? TIA
AR says I’d need to get another harness for my 2018 1500 Denali they mentioned something about the LED unfortunately I installed them without logging it, but everything is working. The only thing I noticed is that I have hyper flashing. So that harness is just to avoid the Harper flashing?? please help
They make self sealing tape. You stretch it and it seals to itself to make a waterproof seal. Wrap the non-waterproof connectors in it....problem solved. Same stuff I used to seal up antenna connections on the mast of the Enterprise aircraft carrier. Lasted for years, keeps out water, kept out salt, and required a knife to remove the seal tape.
How is the light output in the rain, that seems to be when I have the most issues with 6k color temp. Do you have any issue with the actual throw of the projection far in front of you?
so i just got the alpharex also but for my tacoma i hate how you have to open the headlights to connect to amber then open again to disconnect for white led, love how you made a extended wire, can you update with a new video if you can how ur switch works by clicking to turn on amber or led white. im thinking the same thing how you did it to make switches thank you! awesome video

I am finding wherever I can to report how terrible Alpha rex products are and their customer service. I had a set purchased for a toyota. Impossible to level them from the install and they did not want to help. Always the customers fault. I then had an issue that everyone kept flashing me and I later discovered the lights were constantly changing brightness on their own. shortly after that, they filled up with so much condensation that it looked like someone poured water into them. The units are not even a year old. I have been trying to work with Alpha Rex for months now and they keep telling me they are looking into it if I can ever get them to respond. Makes it impossible to drive your vehicle when the lights don’t work and there is no concern from the company to address. Absolutely horrible customer service.
I would pay you to do mine like yours when I buy them seeing your video got me all in for them now 👏🏾👍🏽

I put LEDs in mine and they still suck. I got the dim set right but then when I turn on the brights, I’m shining in the trees.
The two connectors 7:10, where do the wires need to be connect to? Does the other end of the connector connected from the board go to the fuse box?
No. Do not put them to a fuse box. They just need to connect together. It's s complete the circuit kind of thing. It's addressed later in the video.

Did you use hid kit
For the headlights? No. They have integrated LED bi projectors.
Fog lights are LED bulbs from amazon.
