I totally agree with the content of this video. I visited Ilo-ilo July 2024,my husband and I were so impressed by the city!!! The restaurants and food options, amazing! The esplanade and other public places like the plazas that are well-maintained, beautiful and enjoyed by many. And many trees and plants.

Iloilo is a very beautiful city. I'm from western Visayas near Bacolod City, but my best friend use to live in Oton,Iloilo. He ran a medical mission there. I went to visit him in Iloilo in 2017. We went all over, from SM mall to smallville. Had a great time there. RIP Sir Larry. ❤️🇵🇭🇺🇲

@@02traveltv Thank you. Yes we stayed at that hotel with the walking bridge across from the SM mall. We enjoyed our visit to Iloilo including the ride on the Fast Cat boat from Bacolod City. What impressed me the most about Iloilo, was how organized and clean the city was. Lot's of nice restaurants there too. 👍❤️🇵🇭

@@02traveltv Yes that's the place, I couldn't remember the name of the hotel as I was writing my comment. The Injap hotel was very nice and comfortable. We only travel to metro Manila maybe once every 2 years. Too much traffic and very crowded. But once in awhile we travel to Balanga city by Genesis bus lines to visit my girlfriends nieces and nephews. 👍🇵🇭🇺🇲
@@bartonpercival3216 Yes Metro Manila is too crowded and somehow chaotic... Balanga? You mean the one in Bataan? I love Bataan also, I always go visit the Dambana ng Kagitingan, Morong and Bagac over there.

What do you like about it, it looks more cleaner and planned better, have been to Cebu twice and didn’t appeal to me
@stevenrichards7902 it's much cleaner. The roads are better kept up and in most of the city the roads are 4 lanes. A lot less traffic. No matter what time of the day I can get anywhere in less than 10 minutes. A lot of decent sidewalks. I'm in a wheelchair so that matters to me lol. The Esplanade is nice. It's a very long 15km? Park/sidewalk along the river. Ahh and speaking of which the river is super clean. The whole city is clean as a matter of fact! This is a great place and the people are fantastic. Not a party town. So if that's what you are after, don't come here lol

you skipped esplanade every morning theres a lot of ilonggo there having a zumba or jogging , btw im from jaro
at tsaka po under construction lahat ng public market sa city expect to have a sidewalk vendor everywhere this time because i think they only allowed it so that the vendors can have a income while the market is under cons.
Oh, that explains the sidewalk vendors, thank you. About the esplanade, I will have a video about it soon, the esplanade was an awesome project by the Iloilo government.
Nung nag educational tour kami papuntang Luzon pag pauwi namin sa Iloilo kahit taga iloilo ako first time kung ma try yung van na 100php 4am yung byahe parang naka airplane sa sobrang bilis jusko ahahhaha grabiii du nd mapunggan ang driver bala haw bwesit😂
Also: those aren't illegal vendors those are informal vendors who were placed there as the Public Market was being renovated I mean all 4 Public markets in Iloilo were renovated so some of them were assigned to some places near the road but soon within this year maybe before Christmas the markets will be done hopefully

I've never been to Marikit but people there especially my friends who already went there its actually creepy and if you go there at somewhere 3-5pm There's a chance that you'll see Marikit standing at the door or sitting somewhere that's what they say.
Oh man no way! Hahaha... thankfully Marikit never did that to me. But I got the feeling of peace when I was there, it made me think about the life they had at that time.
