😭😭🥺can we please give this guy a round of applause cause in every video I've watched of him explaining any topic I excelled in that class or topic😹he takes the whole 50 minute lesson in class full of confusion into something simple taught within 20minutes🔥thank youuu
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another lengthy video/lecture on Proving Parallelograms With Two Column Proofs. I found this topic long and somewhat difficult to follow, so I will review this material for a clear and deep understanding.
In order to take a retest I need to watch 14 20-30 minute long videos plus fix my test all in 3 days with no time to do so. Thank you for making this really easy for me and wish me luck lol.
the first proof you could've said for step 2 if two lines are cut by a transversal so that the alternate interior angles are congruent then the lines are parallel then for step 3 if one pair of opposite sides in a quadrilateral are both congruent and parallel then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram
time 20:50, the diagonals bisecting each other DOES NOT man the angle is () , (as you drew it inn your illustration), only rhombuses and squares form right angles at diagonal intercepts. GREAT tutorials , thanks.
For the second proof number 7 can i say that ABCD is a parallelogram and as a reason angles BD and AC are congruent and therefore if opposite angles of a quadrilateral are coungruent then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram without step 8? Pls answer quick and if not explain. I have an exam in two days.
have you done it yet? or have you realized that proofs are just a super hard concept to easily grasp the first time around, and that you are still growing as a person?
Hello there. My given parallelogram doesn't have lines in it. What should I do? Should I just get the congruent and parallel opposite sides? Also the interior angles? I'm struggling
late response but you can usually just plot the lines yourself by using Line Postulate (states that any 2 points has a line within it) let's say you wanted to make 2 diagonals and plot a line connecting the points A and C and B and D like in the video basically in a 2 column proof your statement would be "Plot lines AC and BD" and your reason would be line postulate
5:01 you dont need to solve it this way, by knowing angle DCA is equal to angle BAC, we can know CD and AB are parallel (alt.angles,equal). So you can prove ABCD a parallelogram (opp sides equal and //)

My question doesn’t have lines in the middle I was just given points :/
Great video 👍but in tests or Exams they don't give us alot of Given Statements like you have and that's where we tend to get lost
Gabrielle Pillay sometimes there’s two in one given statement
They usually give 2 given statements so his proof is exactly like the test
Litterally somebody tell me how this will help me in my real life job some day.
It can help you understand your exam and then you pass, earn a degree and get a job😊

First and i love u and merry Christmas, happy new year to everyone
in the fist question cant you use alternative angles and then prow two lines are parallel and congruent
Great video, and lovely explanation
Man was bugging on that last question he could have just said it was congruent and moved but he low-key wrote a whole essay

I'm pretty sure half these proofs can be done A LOT faster.
I think steps 7 and 6 are incorrect for your last proof

Great vid, but if we prove that opposite sides are parallel, isn’t that also the case with a rhombus?
yes because a rhombus is a parallelogram
In this video he is proving parallelograms, He wasn’t really proving types of parallelograms.
Gotta test next period😂😂
for the 1st proof, coudn't you just sat that ba=cd because AIA--> parallel? and parallel congruent lines prove parallelogram?
Adison Smith that could technically be an iscosceles trapezoid it however you spell that, it needs to be 2 pairs of congruent lines
where is g ???
thank youuu
