Thank you for watching my video! After you finish watching you should check this Yellowed Playstation PS1 here: 😎🥰 ruclips.net/video/4HBr8NE17oc/видео.html
Very good job! I really like the colour you went with, it looks brand new.
thank you so much my mechanics 🔨✌🏽😎
Another great job,you just improvise, don't give attention to those bad comments,👍🏻
Excelente trabajo saludos desde mexico
Nice work
Nice 🏮
I would have liked to see you save the sticker label inside to scan and restore to print a new one.
It's... blue. What battery did it use?
9v battery
2:28 chipmunk sneeze =)
5:15 and another one
Did you swear when you chipped the paint while reseating the damn metal clip?
yes🤣
I think that light have use to work with 4.5v battery which is hard to find, btw great job and you inspired me.
Go with something more normal 3x alicine batteries get 4.5v (prefer D or C Batteries)
Or why not something rechargeable
Good job. The only negative, it would be necessary to restore the inscription inside the lantern.
thank you so much 😊
Al Nik it's a french one ! that's so cool
@@TysyTube .... Yes Tysy.... that would have been the easiest part. Just type up the same wording in similar font - mount it on light cardboard. Insert.
I restore my own toys and that's the only part I'm good at lol.
Awesome job👍👌
I think you should reproduce the instructions that we’re behind the battery.
In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!!!
😍😍😍
Good poetry
but it is blue...
@@heldk7357 In 1945 the lantern corps were blue. Then in the 60s the hippie movement turned it all in green.
5:16 Bless you.
😂😂😂😂🤣😂 thank you 🤧
😁😂😁
That little sneezing was the cute thing ever
LED color is not interesting. Needs those warm colored ones.
netmatrix75 Batteries for this are easily found funnily enough. The guy didn’t search long enough, took me less than a minute to find the type it takes.
In fact, here’s one on eBay!
rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F162475991503
On TOP of that, if you prefer using a type of battery more commonly available to you in stores, here’s an adapter that’ll work just fine with three AA batteries.

@@therestorationofdrwho1865 i was also suprised that he didn't find the battery, the voltage is normally written on the bulb so he could just search for a 4,5v battery, and the correct battery is pretty common at least in Europe
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so damn much for lowering the power tool volume so much. Makes this easy to enjoy.
The CGI is so much better on this Green Lantern
Nice.
thank you so much 😊
The LED bulb should have a diffuser, so the beam shouldn't have such a strange light pattern.
kapitanbomba1989 That’s why you just use the original bulb since it worked.
@@therestorationofdrwho1865 plus those bulbs are very rare as they are not made anymore.
@@tomjoad1363/videos Untrue. I just bought 30 of various sizes. You just need to know where to look for them.
it's nice seeing people restore old equipment instead of simply tossing it out in favor of newer kit that's basically trash by
comparison.
Man..you're good! Im not even into restorations myself, but these are enjoyable to watch. Nice conversion too.
I bet that mechanical switch is gratifying as all hell. Great work. Keep it up! Also appreciate the dimmed volume on the bench grinder portion. Hope to see a new one soon enough!
Awesome job. I like video restoration lamp
it was going so well until the LED and hot glue part.....
I get the hot glue, so the battery holder could be easily removed if someone found the original. But the garish cool white LED I agree with. Again it's easily fixed though.
Good job. Some notes:
1. This should be 3LR12 battery, it is available everywhere.
2. It was a bad idea to replace rivets with bolts.
3. Next time give a bit more time for polymerisation of the painting, maybe use a kind of oven for that.
Anyhow thanks for the video
New Life and it is better than new.. I agree the LED bulb does not seem as bright throws a weird light pattern..
olenick 7734 The original bulb worked with the 9v anyway why change it? Confused as to why he did that.
@@therestorationofdrwho1865 maybe he changed the old bulb to preseve it, I don't know
This is green lantern from justic leage
Nice restoration as always.. in this u missed that old paper printed sticker inside ... U should have reprinted it
I love flashlights and I love the new led technology. Give us your lights 😉
thank you so much 😊
3:13 - Creepy baby face playing with a cowboy on a horsey. Cannot be unseen.
😝
I see the face but nothing else... must watch in slow mo...😳
My god! It was all there!! It will haunt my dreams!!! 👻
I don't see anything
they are jacking
Extra paint job.
OMG... Nice flashlight, but how ugly looks this chip LED bulb. How about regular incandescent bulb on 3 volts and two AA batteries in same size holder?

The light of...THE GREEN LANTERN!"

You should try to get some warm white LEDs for these projects.
This mechanical era was better than technology..we can restore..rebuild what we have been using..instead of replacing..like car, motorcycle, etc
nice paint work!, i would use alu pump rivets instead of screws, And the light bulb change is a good example to let see that energy saving LED lights have a big blinding ray of light at the spot, but has a bad reach of beam to lighten up!
love that you quieted down the noisier parts! I usually fall asleep to these videos so it's nice to not have the sudden shift
I would love to watch your videos in 4k
i want one!
In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!
In my opinion I like the old bulb better, and original sized battery would have been awesome!! Good work like always. And that blue LED looks just like those idiots on roads use with their cars lol.
The type of battery this lantern takes by the way is a 4,5 volt 3R12.
wooho. nice, neat and amazing.
Should have done a green to match the green lantern character and a green bulb.
good job man very enjoyable vid to watch
I think you found this from Stranger Things world
Green would he look better. Yes, and even the best battery attached, Hammer !!!
The restoration work was done perfectly well, but the work on modernization is not very good. Who's stopping you to put a 18650 battery, a small shawl of charging and a connector to charge since you have to put a led light bulb and a modern battery.
5:15 that sneeze sounds like cats xDD
Beautiful work! If we had lived clooser i had let You borrow my old typewriter from that era to make a new decal for the inside.
I like the hammering sound effects. Great video 👍
Love the LED update. Nice one.
New sub. Great work. I think if you would have been able to neutralizes the glue on the label, it might have been savable. But the label was incomplete..
Another nicely restored accouterment (accoutrement according where your from). The only other thing I would do is to secure the original bulb, wrap it in electrical tape of some type of plastic (cut a water bottle and make a small plastic box) and hot glue it to the inside of the lantern so that it does not get lost or broken.
Thumbs up.

Its supposed to be 3R12 battery isnt it?
Nakamura65 I think the same
Nakamura65 100%
on sale sealed batteries 6v 12v mabe better than the 9v disposable one , sealed batteries can charge and long laster
Nice. You did a nice job. Not so sure on the led though. But looks great 👍
thank you so much 😊
You should use original batteries and bulbs. Like in the orange one .
I really enjoy your videos. Perhaps you could make a video laying out the chemicals and tools you use, also How I can go about finding antiques like this myself so I can have a go at it! Thanks!
thank you so much 😊, in the future i will do this to
Old stuff with new skin ... thanks for sharing .
Number one reason I subbed, is because you mute the audio on the wire wheel. Thank you!
nice one i don t know where you find this lanterns?! i see that you have use screws , maybe same small pop rivets from bras instead that would be a good idea in time because those screw may rust fast that is what happens when you make an electrical connection from two different metals

Wish you could've used the original type of battery, but we can't always have what we want-
I still love how it turned out thought and really wish you'ed do more lantern restorations!
Very nice !
thank you so much 😊
Awesome job I like the led upgrade
Looks great, excellent work.
A very good job prosit you always bring me back old memories
Nice job bud, I have just picked up a Tilley Lamp today so look out for that bud. I prefer the standard bulb too.
thank you so much, the standard bulb is much better
Aaaah, lanterns. You gotta lov'em.
yes 😍
That's pretty friggin awesome, I got some vintage stuff I'd like to do builds on. And this kinda inspires me to want to hop on it but sadly I'll need to get a job for parts money x.x but I've had some plans for a while now.
good idea 💡
The good news is you fixed and restored it! The bad news is it's just a light
Wonderful job, really like your videos! Keep it up! :)
amazing work Nice video
old is gold 👍👌😊
Nice resto, and great idea with the 9 Volt battery and the LED bulb. :)
Much better with the original bulb
Ready to go camping ⛺️ in the woods...don’t forget the lantern 😍😄🎉
Fantastic Video dear, Thanks for sharing.
thank you so much 😊
I would have used a bead blast cabinet. And have either a baked epoxy paint, duracoat or powder coat. Funny watching the drill going backwards.....
thank you so much 😊
that was good, like. but that's just a battery, even for an led lamp will not last long
well done mate. Good solution not having the original battery ;-)
