What a better way to keep a strong and healthy body during pregnancy than this! Thank you for posting this. This is indeed helpful especially for those cooped up inside the house.

I was looking for ideas for pre natal classes. Thank you. I use the wedge so my pre natal clients can lay on a supine position. It works very well. I love your classes!!
Yes. That’s a great idea. On my old reformer the jump board would fit on the carriage so I could have everyone at the incline. I need a wedge because my new jump boards don’t fit.
Hi April, thank you for all of your videos, I have been loving your advanced classes as well as your jump board classes. However, I am now pregnant, still in my first trimester but am wanting to continue my reformer pilates the whole way through as I have a reformer at home. I see you have one prenatal video which I have done several times, do you have any other prenatal videos that I could do or could you flag some of your other videos that are prenatal friendly? Many thanks and I love your work! Cheers, Lyndal
Hi Lyndal. Congrats! So excited for you. After around 5 months you won’t want to lie flat. But I have used the jump board before laying as an incline on the reformer bed so you can still do all the footwork and mid back and feet in straps. Another option is the wedge which balanced body sells at www.pilates.com/store/accessories/non-slip/wedge. I will go through and see what workouts are good too. Just no lying on the stomach when it feels Uncomfortable as well. Let me look at the workouts and make some suggestions. I’ll get back with you soon. 😊
Here are some ideas. #1 - should be ok as long as you are ok with balance. This may get tricky as you get further along. #2 as long as you are laying on the wedge or at an incline you should be ok with this one. #3 omit laying on the stomach #4 omit ab work laying on the belly at the beginning and middle. #6 omit laying on the belly. Could do they series kneeling with single arm. #7 omit ab work laying down in middle. #8. Omit abs at the beginning. #9 should be ok if laying on wedge #10 omit back work laying over the box. You could do this standing hunger forward. Ok. Try those and let me know how it goes and I can look at more for you.
Great workout! Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Great video, I’m 3 months pregnant and it worked perfect for me! Please add more prenatal exercises!!
