Need for Speed: Underground (also known as NFSU) is the seventh installment in the Need for Speed series, and was developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts in 2003. It is the first game in the series to use the THX technology. Underground completely rebooted the franchise, ignoring the previous Need for Speed games which featured sports cars and exotics. It was the first game in the series to offer a career mode featuring a storyline, and a garage mode that allowed players to fully customize their cars with a large variety of brand-name performance and visual upgrades. All races take place in a generic city at night called Olympic City, though the city bears some resemblance to New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Rather than exotic cars, Underground featured vehicles associated with the import scene. Underground was commercially successful, and inspired a sequel.

This race. This one race is the bane of my existence on this game! I get far enough ahead thinking I'm safe, then random traffic car out of nowhere. Plus the obvious catch-up of the AI in the last races just to rub it in as well.
The Catch Up mode is worse in Enduro Street Circuit I think, the traffic makes it god damn shit.
@@NFS2SE3HP4HS8U2 I actually found Enduro Street Circuit to be a lot easier despite being a lap longer (although the circuit itself is a lot shorter so the race in itself is probably shorter) and I beat it first time out even when I was young. Back in the day I literally had 3 profiles stuck on Kurt's Killer Ride, the only car I could beat it in was an RX-7 and I had no money to trade in for one on those profiles 😂 Fast forward to nowadays and I can beat it pretty much first time out in anything (finally finished those 3 profiles; done it in an S2000, Eclipse, Integra and even a Golf) but back in the day it was the bane of my existence as the OP said. Definitely the hardest race in the game.

Here is a solution Remove all your performance parts, engine mods and nitrous to stock then try this race again. It will works (You don't have to remove your handling and suspension mods)

gionfs3hp Yeah and also depends on which unique performance parts you choose, If you don't use them, the race is a little bit easier.

Yeah that's why I didn't use all during the race because the last corner is always critical in this race, just like there. :D
Well, this was the race I was stuck on.
Event 95 is easily beatable on MEDIUM with maxed upgrades so far in the game. Took me about half an hour and like 15 attempts or so in the RX 7.
You just have to drive perfectly 😅 but even if you do 1 or 2 small mistakes you can still win on MEDIUM. My finish time was 7:14:54 with Jarrus finished 2nd with 1:50 sec behind me.

Joga muito! Curva de alta a 282km/h excelente, curva de baixa a 210km/h ótimo! Essa corrida é considerada a mais difícil do jogo, pois exige muita concentração.

when i was i child ,after this race (attempt n.3) i won... but I got a fever.
I beat Kurt by 0.23 seconds...
Playing on gamecube was grainy and took away from the quality of the picture 😭

This race is SO HARD. I can’t even believe I beat it as a 10 year old kid. Now I’m 30 and this race is kicking my ass. Fuckin’ eh!

Én a játékot ugyan így nehéz fokozaton próbáltam végig vinni, de egy autóval ( 240sx) és ezt a pályát vagy a fordítottját,(azt hiszem, hogy ennek a fordítottja az 8 körös nem? Ez se könnyű, meg van egy 7 körös is ami nem könnyű) nem sikerült. Csak másik autóval, már nem tudom melyikkel de már mindegyikkel próbálkoztam és nagy szenvedések árán de sikerült. Ja és ez hányadik felvétel amit úgy sikerült rögzíteni, hogy nyertél? Ha elsőre akkor RESPECT!!! :D
Hihetetlen, de ez elsőre sikerült, sok mindentől függ amúgy a nehézségi szintje, 8 körös verseny nem volt az Undergroundban, de a 7 körös Enduro Street Circuit még talán nehezebb mivel akkor már 3 unique performance upgrade-t kapsz és az nehezíti a játékot, könnyebben felhozzák a hátrányt a catch up mode-al. Kövi részben a váltót választottam, ami kb lehetetlenné tette a játék egyes versenyeit, főleg az előbb említett Enduro Street Circuit versenyt. Sokan amúgy visszaveszik a sima fejlesztésű váltót hogy könnyebb legyen a verseny, ami sokat segít.

Put the game into the trash. It's worked for me, i win :D
either get very very good, or uninstall all upgrades that dont have anything to do with handling and do it on easy mode.
