yh, i am missing ritterbrüder on foot very much in this faction since they don't have any equal units to the dismounted nobles or feudal knights just like in several other factions. you have to spam the military order closter in every city to get dismounted knights or templars and such
This is what i do for hours in custom battle, pick the whole roster to look at the models ingame lol, so for me this video format is great and would save me a lot of time!
I still miss that epic great n special helmets of the T. Order here. Also I see Johanniter soldiers in red clothes. The colour of the Johanniter also at battlefield was black. BUT apart from these 1212 is one of the best MODS I ever played
I love the new format. And the teutonic roster looks amazing. I have a question tho regarding the 3 byzantine rosters. Will there be visual differences between tier 2 and 3 of the 3 factions. Like will tier 3 nicea and trebizond be the same as they are now, and will there factions be worked on anymore.
"IF" I had to say anything down about this entire mod, it's that ALL factions' heavy shock cavalry have the exact same stats across the entire board but, that might just be me.
Corn Flakerr0 btw if you try to grab it, it would not work, you are fighting agains a person who was trained to kill people since he was 7 and it wouldn’t be easy to do it, otherwise, their helmets have worked very well, otherwise they would not have used them for nearly 2 century’s. Go and search for „Austrian Horned great helm“ and you will find an example of a helmet that has horns, it is from the 14 Th century and it probably belonged to an Austrian nobleman.
Just think of how much more effective a man trained to kill people since he was 7 would be if he didn't have handle bars on his head. I've been trying to find sources on the whole question, and it's a real mixed bag. Everything from "they were strictly ceremonial" to "they were paper mache," but the one single consensus is that "if they were solid metal and they actually wore them into battle, that would be really, really dumb."
Khamûl the Beef Master As you said, they trained from their 7th year and it wasn’t that easy to just grab someone on the helmet, if it would be so easy, then they could just have grabbed the knights on feathers or whatever he would wear and take his helm off to kill him, but why were these kind of decorations used for nearly two centuries. I mean these things were made to be comfortable to fight in, they weren’t just making stuff to look cool, even if it was only for tournaments. ( they were most likely wood )
great mod thank you for your great efforts to do this!!!is there more updates for the campaign coming??and if there is is there any video explaining what we can wait??
Hi! Quick question: if we look at the available roster, a lot of these units come from different buildings. This might be ok normally, but take the Prussian raiders, for example, you can only recruit them if you stay on donated fief, but a lot of the other troops can only be recruited in a fort main settlement building. Same goes for a lot of other units. Another good example of this is the Teutonic order priory. When compared to the military order priory, the only reason to go Teutonic is because of the garrison and no tax penalties. A far larger amount of troops is available if you go with the military order priory. Is this intended? Because going military order and castle seems like the better choice if you look at it. If you keep the Teutonic order priory, you don't even get all of the crusader troops. And even then, just looking at the stats of the ritterbruter and the berittene swerchtbruder, the ritterbruter is better. And you also get it if you go with a military order priory, something not specifically Teutonic. So? Is this a mistake on my part, am I missing something, or was it meant to be this way?
Why CA doesnt hire some of you and work on a medieval III godammit I know if they even do a Medieval III by themselves the units variety in vanilla would be lame af aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
MegaGamer 12282000 If you already have total war atilla then the only thing you have to do is go to the workshop and write the thing that the guy above me said
What really amazed me in this mod is how brutal are the cavarly units, especially knights ,which is so fcking accurate!!!! great job!!
the attila engine helps a lot with that too
Indeed it is. most specifically how brutal and devastating the Knights templar and Knights of hospitaller shock cavs.
The shock cav are really heavy and highly resistant to light arrows. Exactly how it should be
Indeed it is and how it should be.
Yeah
God bless modding team!
Great units and music to accompany the display.
We need horns on helmets and ritterbruder on foot unit

we bloody need these hornsss.
Nah, that's a myth, or only a jousting thing.
Cépa Automatix we cant deny the fact that it does look cool. But yeah
@@lykatheaaflame8254 No myth commanders wore them to distinguish themselves as well for morale boost. It was made of paper mache so it was light.
Good video. The mod is great, but very overwhelming at start. These videos should help a ton
I am so thankful for you making basically Medieval 3 which CA would not touch because of holy wars nowadays.
chris tobal Charlemagne DLC has a holy war, the fans do not care. It’s because if they fuck up mediveal 3 they will be fucked by the fans.
Their infantry is good or they are only good at cavalry?
This is what i do for hours in custom battle, pick the whole roster to look at the models ingame lol, so for me this video format is great and would save me a lot of time!
when u will release the next update ? thanks for ur great effort
this mod is a masterpiece
They look so awesome
Any chance there might be a ritterbruder infantry melee unit? They look really cool on horseback
there will be eventually in the later stages of this mod.
Very nice!
Amazing Work! thank you for keeping us updated. I hope the Kingdom of Bohemia receives attention as well!
WHERE ARE THE HORNS

Very nice ^^
Can't wait to play them after my exams
More of this kind of content please! It's amazing!!
Awesome! thanks dude's!!
Well i gotta say as astonishing as they look i haven;t seen a single horn in anyone's helmet. Bring back the horns 😂😂
Thanks for uploading these, great idea!!
Good job!!! Could you do one video for Ayubbid or Abbasid Caliphate? I really don't have a clue how their units in high and late look
The Teutonic....ORDER!!!
Say it with a raspy voice it sounds powerful
5:34 that is breathtaking graphics. This is what medieval 2 should've been but was ahead of its time:( great looking units tho

Please do the holy roman empire

Why do they not have any horns on the helmets anymore ?
@Corn Flakerr0 to assert dominance and inspire fear in the hearts of pagans duh
and it looks cool :P
Obviously looks cool 👌

Hey my guy, You've honestly put life into the game again. CA or TW should pay more attention to how it's done.
Waiting for Wales 👀

Any chance you will enable multiplayer campaign?
how can I support the development of this spectacular mod????
are you gonna do one for france
beautiful units but ,please put horns on helmets! thumb up
CHRIST IST ENTSTANDEN!
How do you access the units? I have the highest military buildings unlocked and I'm in 1328 AD but I'm still stuck on early
Plz do more
but must the horned helmet of the Teutons be put, or put an option to add them to the pope's helmet instead?
