Its not bad, its nice. People are just absolutist, everything is either a masterpiece or a load of feces. The spectator that appreciates the uniqueness of the movie doesnt exist anymore, everyone is a critic and judge
Honestly, I think the flack the Incredible Hulk gets is for two main reasons: 1) It has a different feel from most other movies in the MCU. Honestly, I don’t see that as a problem, given that the MCU has felt homogenous to many people for a while, so maybe it would be a good thing to let directors make movies with a different feel more often. 2) It stands out as one of the weaker movies in the MCU, and so it’s bad by comparison, which exaggerates it in the mind of MCU fans. If this was in the Fox X-Men universe or DCEU, it wouldn’t get as much hate as it does, given that those franchises are less consistently great than the MCU.
Movies like Incredible Hulk, Cap America 2 and Civil War were grounded, didn’t relied too much in the jokes and gave character development necessary in order to keep audiences entertained
I always thought that the 2003 Hulk movie directed by ang Lee was more forgettable mainly just because of how boring it was and how uninteresting it was I at least remembered what happened in the Incredible Hulk

That why Edward Norton wanted better script

Edward Norton's Hulk is by far the most bad-ass hulk there is.
