Fun fact :
the currency "halos" are a direct to reference to the rings in the Sonic series.
I highly reccomend you use these combos :
Punch x kick x punch and punchx6
Both moves are simple and activate wicked weave.
Again, if you wanna know what Rodin's secret bring him 100 000 halos and buy the platinum ticket. But again, thats late game content so you dont have to do it.

The katana is easily my favorite weapon in this game besides the basic pistols. Especially with the charged "draw" mechanic to basically pull a Vergil and hit all enemies around you at once, sometimes killing them too.
Also, I feel your pain on those quicktime events resulting in instant death. I've hit those buttons dead on when they pop up, and I still died. So many bullshit stone trophies...

Protip: Holding the targeting button for a long time with Shuraba (the katana) releases a massive laser beam to fry your enemies.
Little Tip: During Breakdance you can't do anything until the animation is done so its best to use it when you know its going to kill the enemy.
You can dodge out of it. Most of Bayo's animations can be cancelled by dodging or jumping.
Taunting in battle raises your magic meter and also pisses off enemies, making them attack you more viciously, but a lot more sloppily, giving you more windows to activate Witch Time.
Wicked Weaves are the giant fists/feet that appear at the end of most combos. They deal way more damage than regular hits and can also stagger your enemies, which is why it helps to have some idea of what you're doing. I know the combo list can seem quite intimidating, but you don't really need to memorize every single thing. Almost every combo starts with a punch. Punch-Kick-Punch, Punch-Punch-Kick-Punch, and Punch-Punch-Kick-Kick-Kick are my go-to's.
Make sure to gather all these Antonio Notes. I won't spoil, but it's very important you do that through the game, specially through certain skills you get at Rodin's.

During the Angel Attack mini game you should be buying Blue Witch hearts a.k.a. DMC Blue orbs to increase Bayonetta's Maximum health.
If you need green herb Lollipop item you can always create them within concoction menu.

Every weapon has its own taunt, just tap the taunt button to see
It's not very practical to use in most cases, but when you get a moment, I'd recommend equipping the sword and then holding the lock-on button for a little while.
also you can change the weapons on your feet

It's nice watching old videos and it's a series I've never seen before, but ah, I wasn't expecting to see biblically accurate angels.
It's good that some people know about that. Angels are Lovecraftian horrors from beyond, not babies with fluffy wings (which were stolen from Greek mythology -- look up the origins of Eros/Cupid, anyone who doesn't already know).
Yeah, canonical angels are actually horrific monsters.

also the alt version of weapons lets you use the on you arms and feet to switch weapons press start or select
each lp are hidden almost on each level most of the lp are also in Pieces so you gotta find them also most weapon rodin will give for free but the alt cost money as you saw
also Katana and shotgun is good combo
also this game very Precise quick time events

Either you are really clever or kamiya is awful at making plot twists, i mean the lukas father thing, also you can equipe almost every weapon on your hands or feets to make differents sets of combos
I don't think it's an awful plot twist. What gave it away for me was the expression on Bayonetta's face when Luka was screaming about it. You can see she's hurt, that's usually a sign she didn't do it or on purpose.
