I really like the incorporation of the grandparents and how her behavior is affected by her inconsistent upbringing, jumping between so many households. It shows you putting a lot of thought and care into your narrative
I admit I was pleasantly surprised by the psychological turn this video took. I was expecting there to be supernatural horror elements from the Miraculous themselves, or even callbacks to the rumored "curse" from the early versions. Instead you don't into Marinette and why she would develop the personality that she would possess in a horror genre.
Yep so in this video I was originally going to talk about Marinette, Adrien, and Gabriel, and then I was going to make a second part talking about the Miraculous and the magic and everything, but the video would’ve been 40+ minutes and I wasn’t going to edit allat so I’m going to do two more videos for Adrien and for Gabriel. Then hopefully I will actually get into like the Miraculous world and the magic.
I've kind of had that idea myself Of making the characters more Serious, having akumatizations more personal & not just something you can poof away, for example if the person decides they don't want to give up their power.
By explaining everything Marinette’s already like and already has, I am able to say “okay, how can I make this creepy?” So yes, I kept her obsessive traits while also adding violent and unhinged traits, traits that she does not have. I also changed her past. I made it to where Marinette grew up in different households when she was a child, which is something that does not already exist in the show.
honestly i appreciate this a lot and if possible would like links to where you got your research. i feel this is part of the puzzle for a character of mine edit: but he isn't exactly like this. more like showing symptoms but not actually being a part, it's an awkward middle ground edit #2: honestly, he (Makoto is his name) doesn't like Natsuki (the pinpoint of the 'obsession') in any other way other than how a big brother will feel for his younger sister.
I tried to find the exact article where I got my information but unfortunately I couldn’t. And I’m sorry about that because I should’ve cited my sources. But who’s makoto and natsuki? I tried searching them up but it looks like they’re from completely different franchises from each other.
@TheConstructor-q4r ah should've been more specific. They are ocs I made for a novel I'm writing. Also, that's alright. Maybe you can tell me which browser you used, and I can find something similar.
The show being in paris is already horror themed to me
Why 😂
Nothing more horrifying then Paris' skyrocketing cost of living
I was going to say “oh Miraculous but yandere version” but you said before me and yes! She is exactly a yandere in this form
The episode where Marinette tells everyone-including Luka- that Adrien is a better guitarist is in the season three episode “Desperata”
Thanks

This is so professional! It was probably a lot of work. I love it❤❤❤❤

Marinette was always a yandere good video Madam I really like it but it does make me wonder on how would they take care of villains
