i want to use volume shader as fog but after usning volume shader i cant be able to extract alpha channel .... it count whole fog ... i dont want that i want only god rays and alpha cut ... what should i do ?
the problem is that i have no time for support. especially when the tutorials are a while back. i’d have to dive back into the subject of, say, last summer,, which costs me time and would usually cost some money. the autodesk maya AREA is free and a great forum.
we folks here in central cologne are being haunted by construction noises. sometimes, when they stop fro half an hour or so, we need to open the windows for fresh air...
those zooms on parts of this poor program make this tutorial hard to follow and hard to find those options.... basicly you are making sure we struggle and that we wont find those functions... good job
this has to do with lots and lots of folks watching my and other tutorials on their smartphones. when i started this channel i used the zoom option more often. in the last, say, 200 tutorials you see more cuts and less zooms. cheers!
These ARE tutorials. For real, this is amazing. Thanks!
BTW, there is no AiVolumen anymore. Mind if you explain how to do it without it?

How do I increase the samples? I've been trying everywhere but still looks noisy
how would go about giving the fog volume soft edges, ie hiding the exact shape of the original object
i don‘t know.
Do you have an idea how to use it with Maya Fluids? Because right now the shader is litteraly scooping my brain with a spoon...
