The best tabletop gameplay I’ve ever seen. Sent to a buddy who quit between the XY, Sun and Moon block and has only gotten back into IRL a month ago. Think this will excite him for sure :))
As a newish player I really enjoy seeing formats like this where I can see busted old Pokémon that have long since rotated out of standard. Great video!!
I love your tabletop content, especially when it involves older cards, so GLC, Expanded and Retro formats. You should totally try in some live the Justin Basil's Eternal Format, it's basically the Unlimited cardpool but with a solid banlist to make everything work properly.
I definitely didn’t see this early nooooo- >:3 This was super fun to watch! Expanded is incredibly broken even with a limited card pool, and it was really cool to see what you guys came up with!!! ^-^
Same, at least TCG Pocket finally sorta fills the void in my heart that PTCGO filled, but even then, it's still not really the same, even though I do really enjoy it.
Well I tried to do this in Live and it didn't let me use the attack 😂 It doesn't mention explicitly but I guess that lightning symbol in the text is referring to basic lightning energy and not special energies. So Jesse would've lost this anyway 😂😂
@@TrickyGym Then what seems to be the problem in Live? I did everything perfectly. I had 11 energies on Raichu and behind on prizes but the card interface was as if I am missing a lightning energy. The second attack on Raichu showed 2 colorless energy requirement fulfilled but the lightning was missing even though I had reversal and counter with full effect. I tried the exact same list as Jesse except with brilliant blender and trekking shoes(trainer's mail cannot be played in Live) Is this a bug? There was no temple or sinnoh or anything that would stop the effect of special energies. Also, you can't play life dew in Live so I'm playing Shedinja that attaches itself as a tool (basically life dew) along with ditto prism.
Ok, so kind of off-topic question, but how have you mounted the skateboards? I have a piplup one I want to mount in my apartment, but not sure how, as most of the solutions I found online focus on either horizontal mounting or displaying the underside of the skateboard instead of the top.

I was really looking into dipping my toes in pokemon tcg live after starting from pocket. But after seeing these games play out, it seems so overwhelming for a new player to get into 😢 any tips?
Battle compressor is not legal for expanded on tcg live...but its okay irl? Or does it not matter irl cause no one playes expanded anyway? Someone pls clarify🤔
TCG live doesn’t have expanded format. Expanded goes all the way back to black and white, TCG live only has through sun and moon programmed. Battle compressor is from xy, which is why you can’t play it

This is the expanded format which has a much larger card pool then standard, those game won’t be nearly this much so don’t be too intimidated
Best bet would be to just download tcg live and go thru the tutorial!
