Cracking video John, im just about to start painting up some US armour for a Chain of Command supports, so perfectly timed. This has given me the confidence to take the plunge and buy some of those enamel washes to try out for the first time. For something a bit different, but sticking to the US armour theme i'd love to see some 1943 US kit from Operation Torch, the odd strap guns to whatever is going and paint it with the gaudy yellow stripes and US flags, maybe something like the Dodge WC55, M3 75mm GMC a M3A1 Scout Car? Other than the decorations the painting is quite simple so a great excuse for more of the excellent weathering.
I would think a blacked out Allied star would look a lot like a balkenkreuz at a distance, especially with air superiority, the more aerial recognition the better.
Very nice work John. I learned a great deal from this video. Keep them coming!
Awesome job, more of this stuff please!👍🍻

Neat tank though
would this technique work on 15mm also?
100% yes. Most of what I do on 28mm vehicles will transfer to smaller scale with little trouble.
