Can the chirping be set off by cold or humidity? Perhaps if those factors finish off an almost-dead battery?
I've had a chirping alarm going off continuously for three days. The bizarre thing is that I've already removed the two alarms that I can see and put them in the car boot, yet there is still a loud chirping in one of the rooms! So I'm currently removing every bit of furniture from that room to see if there's a standalone, battery-only alarm fallen behind a sofa or anything. The only other possibility is the garage below, belonging to a neighbour, but the chirping sounds much too close, not at all muffled, etc..
Should've kept a notebook with a list of all the alarms (e.g. a CO one I purchased) and how to deal with them, in advance! Tearing my hair out rn :_D

Very strange; especially if all of the alarms have been removed.... If there is a gas appliance or similar in the room with the chirping it may well be a standalone CO alarm which has been placed on a shelf or has fallen down the back of a piece of furniture. The 30 second chirp is a low battery indicator and shouldn't be activated by cold or humidity in my experience. Good luck - let me know how you get on!

@@lumenelectrical1809 hoicked out all the furniture... and still chirping!! Turned out to be a spare smoke alarm... which I had tidied away... by hanging it off of a thin cotton thread from the curtain pole and tucked it behind the curtain. (Note to self and anyone like me: DO NOT DO THIS! haha.) And thanks for the reply and good ideas, and the original concise video too nice work

How do you fix it? Mine keeps beeping as well, no matter with head-on or off, new or old battery - beeps anyway.
