    For anyone wondering how to seal, go back to the first smoke connected and insert screwdriver once again, it should flash then stop

    “That system can then be sealed” okay how do you “seal it” Dave

    Could you do a video on this for the battery operated 600 series? Many thanks.

    OK so I like the Aico stuff, but two alarms, two smartlink modules and a central controller will set you back around 350 GBP. For two Nest alarms, none of this coding etc is required, you don't need a hub or controller and they offer way more features, all for around 180 GBP. Plus you get mounting screws with the Nests. It's a shame Nest don't do heat alarms and don't allow the smoke and CO alarms to be switched to CO only mode (where mounting in a location close to a radiator, etc, like a small utility room).

      Good afternoon, the baseplates will need to be detached from the alarm to be attached to a ceiling, we recommend an Expert Installer to carry out this process, you can find your local Expert Installer here: www.aico.co.uk/find-an-installer/

    how come there is no instructions for the one you want a Ei650iRF

      Hi Jim,
      The same process applies when house coding the 600 Series. The only difference here is that the house code is at the back of the 600 Series alarms, underneath the cover.
      Take a look at this video for some more info: ruclips.net/video/IcL7KEwN5ec/видео.html

    the video does not show seal the system on house code afterwards

    Not very clear to me. 1 alarm will flash twice, 1 alarm will flash once and the controller will flash once. So what we are looking for is 4 flashes from each of the devices. Eh

      Hi Martin, this is because the Ei3028 has a CO and fire sensor so counts as two separate alarms.

    What about the radio link base?

      Hi, this video includes the RadioLINK base?

    can't this be undone?

    Okay, but could’ve been a lot more informative i.e. system can then be ‘sealed’

    Do the radio link bases need to be connected to the same circuit to be interconnected?

    • @aico-tv
      @aico-tv  9 месяцев назад

      Hi there,
      The RadioLINK base requires access to the mains power to operate. Interconnection is then possible via radio frequency, through house coding the entire system together. The RadioLINK base will also interconnect via radio frequency with any 3000 Series alarm that has an Ei3000MRF module installed, and any of the RF versions of our 600 Series battery powered alarms.
      Hope that helps!

      @@aico-tv The question remains, do all alarms need to be on the same circuit from the consumer unit? From your response, it suggests not, you say they need access to mains power. So can it be assumed that the alarms can be provided power from different circuits within the property, but they would still all interlink without issue

    • @richlk9901
      @richlk9901 Месяц назад

      @basejumper01 they would need an additional wire to connect all alarms at the ic terminal on the base if you could interconnect them you'd save alot on having to pay for all the rf modules needed to connect then
