Some AI or algorithm adjusts them every economy update (including SL/RP multipliers). Baiscily comes down to this; 1. Tank gets added, low costs when new because why would the STV 103 by op? 2. If tank does good go to step 3. Else, do nothing 3. Increase repair costs by some amount (litteraly nothing like 10sl to 10k) 4. Now only players that are good with it can use it so it looks like its still doing great. See step 3 untill no one can play it anymore.
War Thunder prides itself on having Air, Sea and Ground Forces, when will you consider making a map that uses all of them in the same battle (an island invasion perhaps)?

this really gets me too. and for air, it's such an easy fix.. just make the AA guns on the airfield for those maps with one truly effective. so that if there are spawn campers you can just dive towards the airfield. or take off from there.

I must agree with Cò Cò about the secondary menu. If I may voice my personal problems with the secondary weapons menu, it is simply too cluttered and too difficult to discern what weapons are selected in each preset. It also takes longer to use and is less convenient as you have to open and close the menu rather than simply select a preset as with the old version. Further refinement of the menu including visuals would be greatly appreciated, and in the meantime I believe we should have an option in the settings menu to choose between the new and old version.
The main thing I miss about the old secondary weapons menu was seeing the price of each load out. It would tell you immediately which bomb load was heaviest for a level bomber, for example, instead of having to do math while your plane auto-spawns without you having made a selection. The old menu was much more compact which was better, and it also took only one click to select a load out instead of having to double click, and even when you’ve made a choice in the new menu, it isn’t highlighted very well making it tough to know which loadout is actually chosen. Please bring back the old menu, thanks!

This challenge shows how.... Interesting war thunder's physics are. Seriously, the tiny L 3 Italian thingy takes around 1.5 seconds to fall 1 meter, like it's a big tank falling off a big cliff, when it's a tiny box falling off a little step.

I like the new loadout options, it's just that it's pretty complicated to figure out sometimes. I'd offer this - when your mouse hovers over an option - certain rocket/bomb type, the same type would be highlighted. Can you make a game mode called semi realistic for planes. Basically it will have the physics and engine control of realistic while featuring the air spawn and lead angle indicator from arcade. This will make a game mode which is fast and fun like arcade but also realistic in terms of physics. I think lots of people will play something like this

Is there a reason why the Swedish attacker A32A is labeled as a fighter in the game? In real life, it served as an attacker hence the first A in its name, which stands for "Attack". Since it's labeled as a fighter in War Thunder, it doesn't get to spawn with the other attackers, making it a much worse J32B.

A suggestion for a new module with AA vehicles: Deploy Sandbags. This would represent a 'dug in' AA position like we see with the AI AA, providing a bit of hull protection and would disappear when the vehicle drives from the spot. It could be recharged at Capture Points. It could, of course, be given to other vehicles but I think AA is the most appropriate as they are IRL less mobile than tanks & IFVs.
Hey Gaijin! This challenge made me wonder about certain helicopters being able to lift certain lightweight ground vehicles/trucks using tow hooks. It's a bit of a weird idea, but as some helicopters could airlift some trucks and so on in real life, I think it would give helis something to do other than siting out of range of anything else.
Please give us something similar to the old secondary weapon menu, it's just a pain having it take up the entire screen and having to click on it for details. Or you could keep the current one and give us an option for an more modern looking version of the old one.
Could you go into a bit of detail to explain how the damage system works in game? When a shell fragments after penetration, are there various sizes of the spalling and are they of different numerical value? Also are all the modules in the tank identical in the health points across all tanks? (modules like ammo and the forms it comes in, fuel tanks, engine etc) It seems like I'm asking too much, would it be better to dedicate a video on this topic? There was never an in depth video on the game's mechanics. This would help clear up many misconceptions in the game. Attempt 8
Here is what I would like for the payload selection thingy: an option to use the old interface like the one for ammo belt selection. The new one, while good for aircraft with a lot of payload options, is a bit jarring for aircraft that only have one or two configurations.
About the new suspended weaponery menu I don't like how it opens a new menu, and I have to click much more buttons to select a loadout, so maybe give us an option to select whether I want to use the old one or the new one

There are still some aircraft which were mass produced, were well armed and had a massive impact on history which are not in the game...like a certain U.S. 1941 bomber...over 5000 were build...it was used by 3 nations which we currently have in game...it was very fast which is unusualy for U.S. tech tree bombers...please gaijin. You all know exactly which airplane I am talking about.

You can't just put ammo wherever you want tanks have built in ammo racks where the ammo had to go.

Hey Gaijin! This challenge made me wonder about certain helicopters being able to lift certain lightweight ground vehicles/trucks using tow hooks. It's a bit of a weird idea, but as some helicopters could airlift some trucks and so on in real life, I think it would give helis something to do other than siting out of range of anything else.

Please give us something similar to the old secondary weapon menu, it's just a pain having it take up the entire screen and having to click on it for details. Or you could keep the current one and give us an option for an more modern looking version of the old one.
Could you go into a bit of detail to explain how the damage system works in game? When a shell fragments after penetration, are there various sizes of the spalling and are they of different numerical value? Also are all the modules in the tank identical in the health points across all tanks? (modules like ammo and the forms it comes in, fuel tanks, engine etc)
It seems like I'm asking too much, would it be better to dedicate a video on this topic? There was never an in depth video on the game's mechanics. This would help clear up many misconceptions in the game.

Here is what I would like for the payload selection thingy: an option to use the old interface like the one for ammo belt selection. The new one, while good for aircraft with a lot of payload options, is a bit jarring for aircraft that only have one or two configurations.

About the new suspended weaponery menu I don't like how it opens a new menu, and I have to click much more buttons to select a loadout, so maybe give us an option to select whether I want to use the old one or the new one
Gaijin will you add more world war 2 aircraft?
There are still some aircraft which were mass produced, were well armed and had a massive impact on history which are not in the game...like a certain U.S. 1941 bomber...over 5000 were build...it was used by 3 nations which we currently have in game...it was very fast which is unusualy for U.S. tech tree bombers...please gaijin. You all know exactly which airplane I am talking about.
The secondary weapon menu was confusing to begin with but was understandable, although if there was an option to replace it with the previous menu, it would be greatly appreciated
