Any updates on those jet era aircraft carriers? Been almost a year in development now
We don't really have very many naval jet fighters that need larger carriers. My guess is we'll see them around the same time we start seeing F-8U crusaders, A-4Es, and more Naval Phantom variants.

Connor Winton we’re not likely to see more Navy F-4’s, as the USN models never used gunpods, and the British were the only export customers of Naval Phantoms... perhaps the F-4S would work if it’s missiles were advanced enough that it didn’t need guns at all...
Our current carriers were decommissioned before even the first naval jet aircraft entered service, which is why about a year ago Gaijin said they will be adding jet era aircraft carriers like USS Forrestal. Everything from F2H Banshees to F/A-18 Super Hornets served on Forrestal class supercarriers, so it’s the perfect model for Gaijin to add
@@thech33f39 am I wrong? We have maybe 10 planes in game currently that need newer carriers.Give Gaijin some time, they're doing they're best, they haven't forgotten about us.
@@theScottishKoala I think it really depends on Gaijin's stance on adding in planes with missiles stock as to whether or not we see U.S. Navy F-4s in game. Though I must say it'd be a real shame if they weren't added. I really think though that when they add the new carriers it'll coincide with the addition of supersonic naval fighters to the american tech tree. I know people were very frustrated about the delays when it came to the mirage iiic, but when it did come Gaijin did an excellent job as it's a very fun aircraft that fits well in the meta. Though carriers are more of an aesthetic addition, like the mirage, when they do come I'm sure they'll be modeled in all their glory as they should be.
question : Could you add a feature that when you deactivate gunners on a bomber, the retractable turrets retracts ? (like for the B-24, Leo 451...)

I today (26.7) met three nice bomber pilots and we chatted a little. Then suddenly we were comrades in a squad. It sure is nice to see nice people on War Thunder.

Can we get some rewards for shooting down ATGMs or bombs or rockets considering it is a tactic to assist your team and it is no easy feat (I mean we even get hit points for shooting gun barrels)

So now that shooting down missiles has been made into a function is there any way to get points from it? It would certainly be more incentive to spend ammunition against the ATGM/AGM rather than the vehicle launching them.
Gaijin, please, there is a large group of us who agree on this, add more for us bomber pilots to kill, not just small targets, add Factories, cities, docks, Bunkers, add more for us

I personally love decorating my ground vehicles at all ranks both for fun and authenticity. But their is a noticeable lack and availability of them. Would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question. Why do replays that have ghost rounds in them end about 60s before they happen? Please fix your game. I would have show you the evidence but it seems that the replays are not permitted to.
And my second question is: Will players that only go for spawn camping be penalized? As this is an issue especially at higher BRs as they can shoot well outside of the spawn warning zone.

Beaufighter the best British multi-purpose fighter ever, cough* Mosquito cough*
They also did not mention the night fighter variant of the Beaufighter which might've carried the 'silent' thing better.
And as for the Mosquito, it's kind of insulting that they missed out on the plane responsible for some extremely ridiculous stunts like attacking factories in the middle of a city (to reduce civilian casualties) and attacking the Gestapo headquarters in Copenhagen.
Even more insulting is that both of these aircraft, and a whole host of British planes in war thunder, don't have their radar.

it was an interceptor, so I believe that it can still be added to war thunder at a br of maybe 1.3-2.0, and it can spawn above airfield like twin-engine fighters. might not be popular but it would be fun

apiece _ yes, but you see, we have the B5N2 in game, which has no forward facing armament, and only a single defensive gun. It’s arguably worse, but it can carry bombs, but still. The Defiant has 4 guns in a turret instead of one in a limited pedestal.
Lean Boof one big difference- the Defiant can’t carry any internal or suspended armaments

The M56 Scorpion has 4 crew IRL but 3 in game. You can even see the extra seat.

Actually I’ve had situations where a sabot shell kills the Gunner while my Commander was dead from artillery. Having another crew would have saved me.
Seems weird that radar can and will lock onto ground fired ATGMs in urban and densely forested areas but I can't lock on to that helicopter 500 meters off the ground with no hills behind him but hey, I'm not an engineer.
Q: Can smoke rounds ignite when shot at?
It can
Why shouldnt it? It not only has propellent but the white phosphor is also extremely flamable.
IRL U.S. shermans killed german heavys countless times by shooting them with smoke rounds which would then drip threw crew hatches and radiator vents burning the crew alive.
WT players forget it easly but a penetrating hit is by far not all it takes to kill a tank.
I dont see anyone ask. Maybe everyone has lost hope but I wont give up.

I saw something on RUclips about the p-47 being more maneuverable the higher it goes is this true for war thunder if so what altitude should it fly at.
Altitude matters in term of aircradr performance.
You can check at what altitude your plane shines the most hovering the mouse over it, just where you look for all its specs.
It doesn't become more manoeuvrable, but it becomes more manoeuvrable relative to other aircraft at high altitudes like 7000m+ because its turbocharged engine retains more power in low oxygen environments. The altitude listed on the stat card also is never the optimal altitude for engine power, the listed value will always be higher since it's possible to obtain a slightly higher speed over time when there is lower drag(i.e at high altitude), and power doesn't matter as much when reaching an aircraft's top speed compared to drag. You should always try to climb over the highest enemy fighter if possible, but you shouldn't waste time getting higher because your American allies will have already died on the deck after groundpounding if you get to 7000m. However, if you have to dogfight a 109, do it at that sort of altitude, otherwise you should shallow dive away.

Hey Bruce! I have a question for you. What planes in game have the “fire extinguisher” modification? It is in the controls but I can’t find any planes that can actually extinguish engine fires.

I love the AGTM. Especially when I get uptierd and I get killed by a stabilizer low tier tank.
WT is so realistic that you can even use the COAX machinegun as seudo-Active protection system to shoot down incoming ATGM's, but provided you see the missile hahah🤪👌, super realistic😘☺️
Why don't you add takeoff rockets to the saab j29 tunnan, it had them in real life. While I don't think they would be very useful it would be fun to play with, in fact (you can try this) if you open cockpit view in a j29 and go to the bottom left side you will see *"startraketer"* wich is swedish for starting rockets.

Really great and easy way to improve the game and make everyone happy is add a refund option for premium vehicles were 80% of gaijin coin or golden eagles can be refunded. Would really like to trade in several vehicles for higher br and newer ones. Players would definitely buy way more premium vehicles without having to commit to it permanetly and earing gaijin more funds.
Also if someone could submit this at the right place or to the right people I would appreciate it.

Why don't you try to make your own tank model? You already have enough information, weak points and strengths of modern tanks and put it to a test against the best tanks in the game to see if win

Dose landing gear count as extra weight? And do flaps count as well? For example if I broke off both my gear and flaps I would reduce my planes weight by a bit?
Yeah. If you have a buddy shoot your gear off it reduces weight and changes flight characteristics. Works well on stukas

@@zakr-g334 The armor value has been incorrect for quite a while. They said that they intend on fixing it with volumetric values soon.
As long as it wont be added to the german tech tree just forget about it. The M48 had the same wrong armor values but guess what? It got added to the german tech tree and this was the result:

> It moved down to 7.3 in both tech trees
> Later the german M48 (which is better in every way compaired to the U.S. M48) moved to 7.0 while the U.S. M48 stayed at 7.3.
Meanwhile multiple variants of the M60 got added to the U.S., Italian and chinese tech tree. But hey it didnt get added to the german tech tree so there is no need to fix it...
