the fact that his first episode was so good should've been a sign...
Hard to believe this video is over three years old now.
Its the baby babish
John Doe how we’ve come so far
i love how his style didn't change, he stayed true to his roots
Dude, nice name!
You can tell this isn't peak Babish because he didn't make the gluten free brioche bun from scratch
Or raise his own turkey and butcher it himself
I guess he didn't start farming his own wheat until year two
also no cross-section
And the olive oil in frame
Yeah, shame, would love the recipe.

The RUclips Algorithm works in mysterious ways
He really started out with a pretty kitchen, good timing, good quality, and pretty good cooking skills. Most youtubers go from embarassing teenage project to professional, this man just jumped in as a semi-pro right away :o
I mean in a Q&A he mentioned that he was working as a special effects artist in the ad industry. So he was a semi-professional to begin with.
Well this kitchen was from his old house. This is what I'd like to call the "Pre-Divorce" era.
Andrew has stated he went through a bad divorce around this time, as you can see him remove his ring. He then moved into that really small apartment for the first season, before moving into the second apartment with a bigger kitchen.

I think the reason Chris's burger works is because you don't expect it too, making it seem better than it actually is. That's why a simple beef patty can outshine it so easily.

For anyone wondering saffron is a really expensive ingredient. So that's why he didn't use it in this video which was the point of the joke.
ThePrankDudes I mean he said he used saffron in the show lol.
He did use it though..
pyro1324 he says he did it off camera. Or that he didn't show it. But c'mon.
You use saffron very sparingly, and a gram is not expensive at all. A pinch is how much is used in most dishes, and a gram is significantly more than a pinch.
But saffron is utterly unnecessary for a chutney that goes in a burger with so many other ingredients. Saffron should get a place where it shines, a boullabaise e.g. Some liquid (like the fish soup) also makes it a lot easier to get the best of the colour and taste. Putting it in a blender is just ridiculous.
