Appreciate the update! Always interesting to see how just one or two new skills/armor sets can completely revamp a build

I’m excited to see how some of my other builds could get shaken up as the title updates go on. (I’m begging for something to upgrade Vampire Gunlance.)

Thanks alot mate! I‘m also a HH main and absolutely love poison status! Been building something like this myself. But gotta love seeing your tweaks!
    Keep it up!

You dont need a mantle for the flaming espinas hh, or any of its weapons for that matter if you upgrade the base espinas weapon into it. This applies for all TU monsters.

Nice! I've been playing around with status trigger and build up boost on a switch axe set and hammer set. Am actually a HH main though, sooo about time I make a psn HH build!

  • @justwantawholename

The FEspinas HH is def the way to go. If you're doing status combos you'll never run out of sharpness (no handi or sharpness skills needed)
Attack boost is obviously great, with the windproof being kind of a dead song anyways
At first glance it seems weak, but what it allows you to do with builds is insane

Still waiting on a Mantle to make that one but I'm definitely excited to try it out. What do you use to counter the lower raw on it? Or does the attack boost song make up the difference?

    • @justwantawholename

@@graysonthebard9034 it's not so much the attack boost song, but that helps (you can always use bead for attack boost though on the other horns). It's just really convenient not to have to manage silk bead upkeep
It's the 20% affinity + not having to manage sharpness anymore (if you're really sharpness hungry, 1 pt of razor sharp should be more than enougha) really opens your build up to more damage skills. Foray 3 gets you to 20%, WEX 3 is 50%, and you can even fit agitator 4/crit eye 2/ Maximum Might 1 for the last 10%
To give an idea of just how much this frees your build space, it can out damage the Anjanath horn in a raw build.

Im just coming back to rise(left before all the new updates) and I immediately noticed the flaming esp hh looked op as fk and somehow got 2 mantles in 4 hunts 😂, does it really do poison tho? Haven't noticed it while in training room with it

    • @graysonthebard9034
      @graysonthebard9034  Год назад +1

@@floppymcflop5427 It does! All the melee weapons for Eespinas have a hidden poison value. I think for HH It's around 25. It might have a lower proc chance than normal poison weapons though, but it does work with Status Trigger. Welcome back to Rise!

@@graysonthebard9034 man! Now I feel obligated to Speedrun to risen chameleos, I'm somehow not excited for mitzune tho considering espinas's nuke moves ☠️ that I highly underestimated after wiping floor with new raths

nice build, easy for me to build as i am using SnS with the same armor setup, only have to change some decos.
i realised that FFIX naming scheme on the pets, i love it :D

IX is my favorite. I've got the whole party from it as Buddies at this point. And yeah, I feel like this armor setup is going to be the standard for any Poison builds for a while.

@@graysonthebard9034 finally someone who understands that IX is just that good :D
I tried the Flaming Espinas Horn and with some small adjustments on my end (i just love the breath jewel) it feels good especially in coop due to Sharpness Reg

Definitely a top tier Final Fantasy. Flaming Espinas horn seems like a lot of fun. Just need that second Mantle so I can actually play around with it.
