Dear Sir, I have 4 different soils, One is sterlized with bacteria and fungus, one is unsterilized with fungus and bacteria, one is control for unsterlized and one for sterlize soil. Each has 6 repeats. I put in 3 different temperatures 20, 24 and 28, So what would be the design for this? Thanks
You will be using the general linear model. So let's see... Your 4 types of soils are factors (between). Your 6 repetitions are repeated measures. The three temperatures are also factors. (So that is 12 conditions: 4 soil x 3 temp, each repeated 6 times.) I would describe that as a 4 x 3 repeated measures ANOVA.
