What is your #1 shark to swim with?
Great White and the Basking Shark.
definitely cookie cutter shark 10/10 experience
Whale shark no question
A rubber one in the pool
Whale shark all-day except for the fact I'm scared of the water lol😂😂
I need friends like these guys.
I like the idea but I'm much better with women, don't have much in common with other
men

@@WiCZSiXnot the community to be making comments like this 😅 I can sadly admit I’m 100% far from wholesome and understanding going about my everyday life… some would say I’m a “hater” at heart, being a degenerate rap listening, early 20s getting wasted weekly…… BUT WHEN MONDAY COMES AROUND AND IM MAKING COFFEE TO ENJOY SOME WHOLESOME ENTERTAINMENT ABOUT NATURE, i think I can speak for most and say pls refrain from these types of comments🫡❤️
Don't we all.
Saw 3.5ft sawfish eating mullet in the keys in like 3ft of water. Super cool. Didn’t know how rare that was until years later
When Forrest said he gave the shark the 2 finger diddle I almost lost it lol
This was the funniest Forrest has ever been, the Taiwan rant was phenomenal
U weren't a happy ending u were a fluffer lmao
Fantastic episode again as usual 👏🏻 love this trio & kyle of course, its the number 1 podcast in this guys house 👉🏻😁👈🏻
Legend!
My favorite part of this podcast was forests son coming in yelling “daddy!” ❤
Great white would be my pick!
The only thing that makes me happier than contributing to this podcast, is listening to this podcast. Can't wait for the goodies, bros🎉❤

Just watched Forrest’s first episode on Shark Week and it was awesome! Really well done and a great watch :)
Beers and The Wild Times Podcast go together like King Crab and melted butter...yum!
I have a guest request, a falconer, Maya Higa. She has a pretty big following.
That advert for "Alien Sharks" came up on my FB feed and I immediately went, "Is that an extremely wet Forest Galante?"
... ohhhh myyyy
Sawfish have been popping up a lot in east coast Florida beach shark fishing the last 5 years. Damn nightmare to deal with if you have the misfortune of hooking one but cool to see they’re becoming more common. Some are BIG too, 14-17’+ range
Thanks for the pod on this Monday boys!
This made me Happy. Goblin Shark has been my Favourite Shark since I was Child ❤❤❤ 😊
Seeing as it's shark week, can you have a chat about the likelihood of the loch ness monster being an isolated group of Greenland sharks?
You guys help me with my anxiety so much, youre convos are always the best watched every episode and about to pay for the patreon right now!!!
23:49 My childhood best friends first words were "dumb fuck," he was pointing at a Dump Truck. His dad tells the story with pride!
56:02 I just noticed that there are at least 27 tabs open....My brain can handle this. lol
The wreckage of Flight 19 WAS found, Pat. It was still in formation like 1000 feet below the surface on the sea floor and had no damage that would indicate hitting the surface of the water. Only damage was broken windows and what happens to anything under the ocean, encrusted with barnacles and stuff. No signs of bodies or skeletons were found, though.
I keep having to changing my volume when each of you talk!😂
Yeah buddy my first time catching it at release!
It's not a Battle Royale, it's a Beauty Royale...lol
As a fellow shark nut this has brightened my day ❤
Haven't listened to the pod yet but I've got some topics I'd like to hear discussed. The thousands of toads migrating in Utah for 1. I'm trying to figure out what kind of toads they are to better understand the event, but no one cares it seems, they just want a story of course. Western plains toads I'm guessing. Another thing that's been on my mind is what percentage of turtles mature, and hatchling, do you think get trapped or stuck in tight spots and things and don't get out? I'm always hyper aware of what I add to my ponds and enclosures to prevent this, but is it something to really worry about? Also, ive had enormous beetles, 2 different kinds I've never seen before, land on my house in wyoming, just 2 nights apart. I'm a bug guy and I thought this was odd being that I'd never seen these before and so big. Are bugs expanding their territories and making a comeback? Thanks guys, love the channel and the new one.
A lot of the biggest sharks live in the deep like goblin and Greenland sharks. They call it deep sea gigantism, from evolutionary pressure to be as metabolic efficient as possible, like the giant and colossal squid.
You guys crack me up. Thanks for the show.
Bro that movie with Zach galifianakis movie needs to happen asap 😂
Love these podcasts.
31:50 we deserve the whole song on the patron papa pin clicker remix of a rick roll
"unique new York" and "irish wrist watch" are tough tongue twisters too cheers bros
Off topic, but up your alley Forrest. Any thoughts on the possible Red Wolf-Coyote hybrids living on Galveston Island in Texas, live close to the area and have seen one of the alleged hybrids before, wanted to see if you had heard of this population.
Have any of you guys been to Coco’s Island to swim with hammerhead sharks?
Literally swam with Sharks yesterday🙌 Some Silkys and Reefs mainly but had a scalloped hammerhead go right under my GF. So close, she could've grabbed the fin. Definitely one of the greatest experiences💯 Salty Divers is the charter if you're ever around Jupiter FL
can't believe the greenland shark wasn't on the brackets!! they're very mysterious
That Bermuda triangle as an alien base theory is @least a decade old at this point. I've seen it in multiple documentaries... Also I used to get mako shark steaks from Big Y as a child and they were delicious, it's like a fat cut of tuna; plenty of thick flakey muscle to fill you up.
Today i turned 24! Anyways Prehistoric animal of the week! In honor of shark week today instead of a dinosaur we have Helicoprion also known as the buzz saw shark- a shark from about 20 million years ago that is perhaps the most well known exctinct shark after megalodon. Helicoprion is know for its very weird buzzsaw shaped bottom jaw which was the only part of them that would usually fossilize given they are sharks made out of cartilage. Although we dont know much about this shark it is thought to have grown from 16-26 feet in length with the largest known "tooth whorl" being 22 inches in diameter which would have belonged to a roughly 25 foot shark! As not much is preserved our thoughts on how the shark looks has changed many times over the years from the teeth being outside of the mouth to now being mostly covered up inside although we don't know for certain. Shame we've lost such a unique animal before we got to see it but many prehistoric sharks had weird things going on! Happy shark week everyone and happy 24th b-day to me!
Aqua man beats superman lol
Can’t wait to see you guys at Animal Con!!
Can't wait. This podcast makes my day .
Love your guys content
Sawfish and Goblin, joint winners.
Have you commented on the new octopuses found in Costa Rica?
... thanks for the laughs fellus , needed it today... In west Australia jere actually.. the south end .
Its a huge state with a massive wild coastline
The aquarium in Capetown has that one room that’s all like uv jelly fish and fish or something they should add those shy sharks 🦈 so awesome seeing all the spots you were going to in Capetown made me more afraid of surfing every time I come in town 😂 just messing. Great episode ❤
The search plane searching for the military planes probably blew up as it was fairly common issue with the plane
18:01 look at pats face when he hears laemmle being brought up
I’m pretty sure Forrest just hired the wrong guy to show him and his crew members the good food in Taiwan and not everyone here eats those weird parts of chicken….and i have never heard of anyone eating chicken eyeballs here my entire life. I guess he probably didn’t have a chance to try boba tea, soup dumplings and beef noodle soup to name a few when he was filming his show in Taiwan; otherwise, he wouldn’t have talked trash about Taiwanese food like that. Apart from that, I’m a fan of the podcast and enjoyed all the animal content.
Three minutes?!?? Shit absolute legend lol
another really cool pod appreciate it. Cheers.
Thank you! Cheers!
🇬🇧 I absolutely adore Sharks & any deep sea creature, they are so facinating 🦈
I used to live in Australia during the mid 1960s & 70s with my parents & have seen my fair share of ocean creatures, including seeing a shark attack while sitting on the cliffs overlooking Manley Beach in NSW
The shark alarms had sounded off but it was so windy the surfing guys didnt hear it until they noticed everyone making for the beach.
I remember seeing the fins of a large Bull Shark coming up behind
One guy sitting on his board making for the beach.
From our elevated position we saw it all, the attack, the frothing of the water, the blood around the board.
It was very traumatic to witness
But the guy fought back & the lifeguard launch was on its way
& we actually saw them getting the guy on the boat with his left lower leg missing.
We later talked to the guy ( 8 months later) as some friends knew him & he said he felt nothing but tremendous pressure on his leg, like a vice gripping his leg.
He was so philosophical & not bitter, a shark doing what sharks do was his answer! He still surfed & swam.
Theres only one sea creature that terrifies me, im really really
Frightened of this type of shark & i dont know why, its just a gut wrenching feeling & i cant look at them in any shape or form
& its the Goblin shark....
Shudder...
Cant watch them even on film or small screen.. no no no no way
Thanks for your vids
Peace
🇬🇧👧
Never could get through that movie myself. Aqua man
Am I the only one that can’t tell Peter and Patrick voices apart?? This is the first time I’ve seen the video of the pod and thought one of the guys did like a alter ego bit or something. Wild I’m honestly shocked it’s two different people
Lmao did you think Retep was just a character and not a real person?
I agree.
Thank you guys I think if I could I would swim with a mako shark
angular rough shark is a real life pokemon i would not be surprised if it does water pump
The rate of ships, planes, etc, going missing in the Bermuda Triangle is no more than the average anywhere else in the world. The reason it seems like there are so many is only because it is an extraordinarily large amount of traffic it gets. It is one of the most heavily trafficked waterways on the planet. Per the amount of traffic it gets, the amount that go missing is no more than the average.
That’s crazy how you rubbed their Lamp Luinas Forrest
Wild times baby!
Usually Retep is the smart one. But papa p is right about the cookie cutter over sawfish
I have a huge irrational fear of being underwater. I can’t even go to aquariums or watch shark week stuff that’s filmed underwater. Feel free to roast me in the comments😂 but does anyone else feel this way?
Can confirm. Lived in Taiwan 1 yr. Ate hotdogs and redbull 11.5 months
red leather, yellow leather....fuck that....haha
Wobbegong shark 💜
GAH! I would LOVE to go to Animal Con. Thats a bucket list item now that I know it exists. I'm getting married on Friday the 13th in October so I cannot add another trip between now & then.
Forrest you don’t know what you’re missing out on because my grandma used to make fried chicken livers and they were delicious.
Hey you three from the UK. Love watching you guys, so awesome, and BTG. But what would you say to the normal everyday person, like me, about how to not get depressed about the mundane life we lead? I'm not exactly a Walmart employee but I fit woodburners in the UK. I'm kinda happy with my life but you guys seem to have such exotic fantastic lives. I'm 6"3 around 240 pounds kinda like peter but having on a recent pod seen round Peters house when you all went on his roof...holey god damn moley. Much love.
The strangest shark I've ever seen lol
Irish wristwatch, Irish wristwatch, Irish wristwatch
The issue with the directions for the bracket, it should be how you would view it if you didn’t dive at all. Retep kept getting btfo’d at the beginning because he doesn’t dive. Imo if you don’t dive it has to be whale shark
Please interview jeremy wade from river monsters
I remember when you guys only had 14,XXX subs. Seeing the pod hit over 300,XXX now is amazing! Also I was the 1,000th member of the Discord, granted I'm never on discord anymore cause of life stuff. Still awesome nonetheless cheers 🥂
KKK? 😂😂😂
@@christravisedgar I'm just going to edit that😂 I've been drinking all day okay lol
Def wouldn’t say it’s garbage part of the chicken. Feet is delicious..
Do the cuddle fish taste more like calamari or octopus because i person don’t like the texture & extreme chewiness of the octopus but enjoy calamari.
I just got back from buying a 12 pk of Fat Tire. It's my thank you for that song .
Chicken is *_not bad_* lmao
The Caribbean version of "chicken noodle soup" has chicken feet for the chicken part of the soup lmao (or at least in 🇯🇲 it is)
Did Pat pick with Forrest every time? Sure seemed like it
I am picking the bull shark cause i just like being scared!
Not that it makes a difference to me at all, but i am quite curious. Why is this locked behind a pay wall on Spotify, but not RUclips?
Come on! Flipping over a whale shark while diving and making it go catatonic? It's a 30 foot long fish!
23:15 it's because the average person never recites the ABC's backwards but I'm pretty sure that's how retep learn the ABCs or in his case the cba's
🇬🇧 Best Tongue Twister in my opinion is...
RUBBER BUGGY BABY BUMPERS
Its impossible.. lol & hilarious when drunk!
Peace
🇬🇧👧
What is the name of the Bermuda Triangle doc coming out
With y’all starting to add all these other great podcast to the channel like cookie and BTG I think Peter should get one where he goes into deep detail of his conspiracies
9:00
Nice ad read right in the middle of a sentence….
Its funny. When retep is sitting not talking. For a minute im convinced hes not an idiot. Then he starts ranting about aliens, and im reminded thay nope hes an idiot when it comes to the natural world. 😅 never change retep.
Is the winghead the same as a hammerhead?
we eat shark in the Philippines and if cooked well it tastes like stingrays.
Yo did you guys hear about the Cocaine sharks today ? Drug bust on the water gone bad but new movie title ..?
Forest the beard is getting very Jacque Cousteau high Calypso I sing to your spirit ❤
He lives in a zoo its called LA 😂
So was it bullfrogs instead of sea snakes?
My # 1 Shark to Swim With Is None 😉😜...To Scary , Great Cast You All !! 😀💚💯
Guys its hard to hear you all..my headphones pick up the music good but voices are low
Does anyone know why it’s so difficult to keep a White Shark in aquariums? The longest one has survived is a matter of weeks, if that.
There is a video here on RUclips about it, I think they go depressed for not swimming long distances and die. But give it a look, name of video is something like “why no aquarium has a great white shark”
They’re nomadic and used to swimming constantly, apparently they get a lot of injuries from running into the walls of the tanks. I’d imagine you’d need a massive enclosure for a shark that gets that big, even not considering their swimming habits. The fact that they’ll probably try to kill everything else in the tank is a little inconvenient, too.
The voice of an angle.
HEY, GOOD PODCAST, MY DAD WILL LIKE IT IF I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO PUT IT ON HIS TV
28:56 eating every part of the animal is common in a lot of cultures where meat isn’t readily available. I appreciate the utilization of every part of the animal, but even as a foodie myself I would have been appalled. I have had almost all of that in my life. Heart, brain, liver, kidney, feet, tongue, tripe, etc. the list goes on. Some of it is actually really good. But at the end of the day I’d still rather eat the chicken thigh than it’s feathers or beak 😂😂😂😂
Alaskan triangle is wayyyyy worse than Bermuda, and never talked about…. People can’t really be intrigued by Bermuda if they don’t realize there 10 places with more disappearances.
Everyone hit the 👍 button to show ❤
I immediately set your shows to record. Also if you want an impossible tongue twister just try repeating "Toy boat" over and over.
