Strap in and fire up the helicopter engines for the most adrenaline-packed medical rescue missions you've ever seen on TV. In America, we go on 3 (1, 2, 3, GO!). Hearing, “reddeh, steddeh, move!” made me smile lol.
Not only do they save people. But they save toads too!!!! Y'all are so amazing
It was in a toad away zone.
when I first saw that toad I literally thought it was a piece of poop on the runway 😂
I did too!! LOL. I love frogs. When I was a kid I used to save frogs all the time. Once my family went to a beach in North Carolina USA and I saw a lot of frogs as it was the early part of summer. I found a clay flower pot and quickly rounded up at least 35 frogs 🐸 of various size and put a lid on them and brought into our motel room. We all went off to sleep and next thing we knew my mother was screaming that something was jumping on her middle of the night! Uh oh! Daddy turned on the light! Frogs 🐸 jumping all over the room. I never heard the end of that one!!!😊😊😌
Me too hahhaha 😂 I was like "why is he photographing a poop, must have been really beautiful I guess" 😭
This 17 yr old boy has his guardian angels with him. 🙏
I was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for many years when I was younger, and 17 year old Cameron's car has to be the worse I've seen where no one was killed. Truly miraculous.
Teenage boys with new drivers licenses are the same the world over, they love to race with their friends. Sadly it quite often ends tragically. He is one lucky boy.
Paramedic in Canada for 10 years. Our station is right beside Highway 401 (North America's busiest). Have seen more mangled vehicles (and occupants) than I care to remember. Every time I've seen a car ripped in half like that, it has always been a fatality. Cameron should buy a lottery ticket.
I'm a 54 year old woman.
I drive back and forth 2X a week,
10 miles round trip,
to care for my dad,
on one the most dangerous expressways in America,
3 lanes, gigantic trucks,25 feet in the air, with 5 exits in between.
1/4 of a million people or more pass through this horror daily,
many for the very first time in their lives.
I remind myself EVERY TIME to be very careful!
But even then....I'm afraid and ashamed to say,
sometimes,
I take chances.
Lucky - perhaps. Utterly stupid is my word. He should have lost his license until he retakes his driving courses and have to wait until age 21 to drive again, imo.
😊😊q
His intestines are now his intestouts ....
Glad they are now his intestines again 😄❤
😂 This is totally a “dad joke” and I always get the giggles when I hear them!!
😂 love dark medical humor
This American really enjoyed this show! Your responders are top notch. Well done, all!
I hope the guy on the bike realizes that there was angels with him. He wouldn't died if not. Praying for you all
These people are awesome at what they do.
This whole channel is awesome
You guys are absolutely fantastic. I thank you for your service and your help with people. You're amazing, God bless you, me, stay safe.😇😇❤️❤️🙏🙏
"You have the kinda veins junior doctors have wet dreams about"....hahaha
I just love this series 👍👍
So do I .
Is there another season of Heli Med. I've enjoyed watching one before I go to sleep every night
I had an argument with a friend who tried to tell me Air Ambulances are not allowed to land on private property. I live in the states. And just like the UK Air Ambulances have the authority to land without permission.
37:00 whats up with the wipers? They move at different speeds. Am I trippin? That would drive me nuts.
That would make me mental!!!
Agree 100%
Your country looks so beautiful 😎🍻🍻 from the UNITED STATES 🇺🇸
This is my favorite show !!
36:05 “you’ve got the kind of veins junior doctors have wet dreams about” 😂
The wiper blades were my favorite! 😂
So impressive! Great work. Ohio, USA
A guy I went to high school with was known by the police and had a warrant for his arrest. He got in a police chase and came down a street that was only 3-way, and he was on the side that ended. He was said to be going over 80 mph when he hit the oak tree. That tree the original owner of the house planted over a hundred years before this. It only got a few scratches when his car hit it and came apart. Almost completely came apart. The doors came off, the engine was 5o feet away. The battery was 20 some feet in another direction. He walked away. The guy's father, who was sitting at the light when his son hit the tree, was asked if his son had been to church recently. He had just gotten married to his high school sweetheart, who was in my class at our vocational school. At that same three way stop light was the Fire department and the County Sheriff's Office. Her last name isn't his anymore.

I wish we had this service in South Africa!! 👍
We do.
we do my hubby help them land often
Wish we had more of this in the US without costing $30000 for a life threatening event and no insurance.
Really? South Africa? One of the few countries outside of Europe that has this service?
This is the best part of Thursday ☺️
i love this show but it always makes me anxious. i always get more calm when i hear them say certain words with their accents lol
He is a gutsy fellow for sure! God Damm heroes!
36:33 The guy in red jacket who looked in the camera, looks straight like jeremy clarkson :D
How do you dislike a video about saving people whoever did those 2 dislikes doesnt deserve being saved
Lol......... but when they need saving they won’t feel that way! Lol
7 people now
Then those seven shall not be saved ._ ever
10
Those 10 shall not pass
I wish I had money to buy these holicopters and save people
Perhaps every student driver needs to do ride alongs with paramedics and police officers as part of their learning process before they get their license!!!
The ole stick in the abdomen trick.
US captioning can't cope with those accents! I can't catch a good deal of it either.

Hello fellow hoosier!
Another Hoosier here!
Remember panicking, crying & freaking our _never_ helps anybody. In fact, it only distracts the medical team from doing their jobs. If they have to listen to somebody losing their $hit. Stay calm & have your freak out later. Once the injured person(s) has been taken away. Emergency personal do it this way too. 🤗
Ummm, it's usually the pain that causes them to "lose their 💩"!
🙄
@Austin Lee - Why does my comment have likes then? If you don't like it move along. Remember, _Nobody_ asked _you_ directly. 🤗
@@59Alaskan - Today's lesson: Reading the _entire_ original post, _before_ commenting. 🙄 As the 'freak outs' 8've referred to are not from the patients. But from on lookers, friends or partners. *sigh Are we at that point that folks don't even _read,_ before they run their fingers? SLOW YOUR FINGERS DOWN! You might break a nail. 😂😂😂😂🤗
@@Digitalhunny Some of us understood what you meant, it's something my mom taught me from a young age. No matter how crazy the situation is, it doesn't help anyone if you freak out. Stay calm, deal with it, and break down later if you need to. Especially if the cause of the medical emergency isn't immediately apparent, like drinking or eating something they shouldn't of. Think Chubbyemu's channel if you're familiar with it. The more information you can provide the better.
@@jeremyowen1 - Exactly! 💖
Apparently Cameron's driver's test was not stringent enough.
Lol......I felt the same way! He definitely had a angel that day.

I have a question. Why do they say “ from hospital” or “ to hospital”? I live in the USA. We would say “from the hospital” or “ to the hospital”.
I have a question. Why do Americans say “ from the hospital “ or “ to the hospital “?🙂🇨🇦
Zazur motorcycle 🏍️
Out of curiosity, do they have to pay for the helicopter ride? Is that out of pocket? Or is it like the ambulance, free? (Yes, I know taxes are paid so it’s not technically free, but in the US, you pay for both, pay a LOT extra for helicopters, emergency medicine, AND we pay taxes.)
It's covered through taxes paid for the NHS & donations.
@@AmberMcQuaker how wonderful. If it’s used here in the US, we pay ungodly amounts for it individually. It’s a racket here.
@@RedKresnik11 that's insane. I'm in Ontario Canada, both ground & air ambulances cost $45.
In America we pay for everything. Health insurance if you can afford it, ambulance by land or air. Air ambulance can cost around $40,000.00. That’s if insurance doesn’t cover it. Medical costs in USA are obscene!
@@jillbecker8651 that's sad. It's heartbreaking that someone could be dying and simply because they're not privileged they can't go to hospital for care.

Wtf is wrong with the cows there ? Ive never heard of cow attacks bulls yes not cows
Oooooo, cows are the WORST! Don´t get me started on heifers.
I find it interesting that the medical professionals are always asking for permission to do their job, here in Canada they just go ahead and do it.
If your medical professional isnt asking or confirming before they do anything..find a new one. Theyre supposed to.
Many healthcare professionals in Canada do ask the patients if it’s ok with the patient before they do a procedure and/or inform the patient what is happening. Your blanket statement is incorrect. 🇨🇦
21:35 did I just hear “altered neurology”? Contextually, that word just doesn’t apply, because it means the study of (-ology) the brain (neuro-).
What should it be??
@@cdnkate9902 technically it should be a neurological deficit. Luke is overthinking it 🤷🏼♀️
