Don't have my PC anymore, but I am glad that there finally is a way to measure placements of structures in this game. Other than building temp blueprints and sometimes starting things you didn't want built.
16:20 ok THAT is huge. I also wondered why I could never open my widgets menu with F11 like everyone else said they could. I always felt left out thinking my game was just bugged lol Thank you so much for explaining that detail. I'll try it out and see if it works now
Glad you like the grid, I actually stole the concept of grid when pitched to Beherith from the AoEII, very nice that Hobo Joe made it so nice looking as well. Everybody used to diss the grid before. I need that Priority Construction turrets.

For me F11 wouldn't open the widgets menu. The game clearly recieves a signal from the keypress, as its closing the settings menu when I press F11, but doesn't open the menu. Tried changing the key layout, put it to costum, opened luafile, replaced f11 with f8, _restarted the game (it has to load the new lua file!), bam, works. Setting to costum and sticking with f11 doesnt work, no clue whats broken there, but going costum and selecting another key works. Just putting that out there for anyone else who may have had the same problem.
Thats true, they do that for me as well. Since they are a builder and are always on "Fight" command, they just reclaim, repair and assist anything that is in range at all times. Even resurrection units can be put to path through an area in Fight Command and they'll do the same, reclaiming and repairing anything in their path. Fun thing I noticed with resurrection units is that when combining the Fight Command move with the Alt button allows them to prioritize Resurrecting stuff that is in their path, then reclaiming or repairing everything else. The default Fight command doesnt resurrect stuff, it just reclaims.
Can you put sections in the video timeline or the widgets used in the video description? I watched the vid, but I'd rather come back to the widgets later and then download them.
Hello Drongo i have a quick question, how do you place buildings in a block instead of a just a row? For example at 4:10 in the video. I always see you do it like that but i couldn't figure it out yet.
Hello Drongo, I am a huge fan of your content of BAR. I wanted to ask how you made a timer widget appear on the left side of the screen. I can seem to turn it on. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Regards Abdullah
it's weird because a lot of your widget are actually already present for me : i have a big build circle around commander i have a big ETA and turret auto reclaim everything in range as long as there is nothing to build around soooo
He even shows in the video that the circle is there it's just hard to see, probably harder for people with colour blindness/weakness, and the reclaim thing he was talking about was switching to reclaiming enemy units as soon as they get into range, not wrecks after they are done building, as that would make the build turrets very strong defensive weapons without requiring micro.

For the reclaim field you have to walk into the area to see it. I don't think it shows "undiscovered" areas.
Undiscovered areas don't matter as reclaim and wrecks can be seen globally in BAR. The issue should be fixed in the last version.

I assume this issue was even after typing "/widgetselector" to activate the F11 hotkey like Drongo said at the end of the video?

Yes they do. They just have the priority to repair and to build anything in range. Only if no such jobs are present, they will reclaim enemies.

ngl the priority construction turret one feels a little over the top ... almost cheaty.

discord link doesn't seem to be working
once activated say in singleplayer are they then available already activated also for multiplayer or do i have to activate them for every session?

volumetric clouds is on for me, i turned it off and it increased my fps. Its just clouds that appear or disappear on the map.
