Much better option. Before, I had a 12-hour layover in their port without such options. I'd take this without a second thought because there's always much to enjoy in Doha.

It's a bit missleading that you stated in your Video "Qatar Airport Lounge" which could mean it's a Qatar Airways airport lounge. Their business class and first class lounges are amazing, so I was surprised to see ths kind of lounge. But It's great that you can get access with PP to any kind of lounges, always good to fly eco without status and enter a lounge

This is a cool vid, a bit old but still quite informative. I'm flying through Qatar in a month and would love to explore the city a bit. I always book overseas flights with long layovers. Cheers.
So I was in Abu Dhabi and Dubai the same time you were in Doha. Very similar cities, experiences, layouts, the falcons, souks, expats making over 90% of the population, etc. It's fun to discover how similar they are.
The Gulf Arab states are all pretty much the same. Same people, culture, language, etc. They now just have boundaries between them drawn up by colonialists. In fact most were going to unite into one country when the British left, but failed because of disagreements.
I love the airport I wish I knew about that when I was there. What I did like was the ability to shower and refresh for the rest of my trip to Thailand. Don’t knock the Golden Teddy Bear.
U need to come Dave, there is is much much more u ddnt get to see here in Qatar.I also noted u have soo much love for camping Qatar is the place to be.Desert safaris n the good is from dusk to down, morning to evening all the way.

Qatar is officialy in the Arabian Gulf...if you wish to hang on to old school colonial catagorisations of yester year...
then go ahead!
@@shoking9825 google is not always right...everyone knows that! and its the Arabian Gulf, refered to as such...but as i said before certain western countries insist to live by colonial labels...that does not make it correct...
the Middle East are the Levant countries up to Iraq, the A.Gulf countries are just that...they do have an official name, it the Khaleej...again a name that does not want to be recognised or used by western countries. Times have changed since a while...but some people refuse to change where there is no self benefit.
