Doha is an amazing city and their people are absolutely warm-hearted. When I was here it felt good to get away from the division and hate in Canada. If I could, I would definitely think of retiring here.
agreed. my heart just feels so much more at peace in doha, and i feel safer physically too. no need to be alert when walking down downtown. or a need to pay $42 in vancouver to get from one place to another. instead i could just pay $2.5 CAD for a day pass with the pretty-good metro.
im 10 years already here in Qatar. I havent been the most of what you've shown in the video, but still the security and peace are the best about this country. Mashallah!

My traveling group is going here. Unfortunately I can't go this time around. But I pray the group will circle back around and I will go with them. I can't wait. I want a house in Senegal, Costa Rico, and Middle East. I want to travel to all of them, and have my nephew, niece and child go to all of them. This is my dream. USA is not the end all be all. People make it seem like USA is the best place in the world but its not. The peace, innovation and less crime I have seen on other countries is wonderful!
Great Video ❤️ I love it 😍 I don't understand why youths and adults are still poor when they have a smart phone and great opportunities on how to make money💰
Interesting video - thanks for sharing. I've been visiting Bali since the early 1990s, visiting a few times a year. And yes it's changed a lot over time. I talk to my older friends who were visiting/ living there back in the late 60s and 70s, and they have some wild stories to tell - but still their experience was FAR DIFFERENT than anything I experienced, or that we experience today. Qatar is an evolving place - change is inevitable. That said, I have a lot of local friends there and your very neutral tone of the change with Russian folks arriving is not how my local friends have expressed their feelings of the influx. They feel many of the new arrivals are arrogant and rude - treating them like servants or slaves.
When I saw the subtitle for this video (Why you MUST travel [to] Qatar) simply had to wonder who is "you". Given the numerous comments and news stories about the controversies this country has stirred up for itself, I'm not sure that this video really has a wide appeal.
@Jake Jack I've been to qatar... this video is very "rose tinted glasses". Don't expect any "friendly locals" to come up and invite you to their home, or even speak to you. Public displays of affection are illegal, even if married. Showing your shoulders or knees is not allowed, and it's insanely hot. You can be arrested, or worse, for being gay. Alcohol is illegal. These are the unfortunate truths.
Hi! I was invited to come to come and experience Qatar. I had full control over my experience and this video is just me sharing every bit of my amazing stay. I do this everywhere I travel so that others can get an authentic look into a destination.
